A good combination of a tobacco shop, smoking pad, and convenience store - This is a rehash of the…read moreprior review with some additions Pros: -I have to give Jack credit. In this overbearing smoking law state of IL he has provided an atmosphere that allows smoking indoors. -He has an amazing selection of cigars, and has always been reasonably friendly with me. I have yet to take advantage of the Hookah bar, so this is more on the cigar end of the business. -My most recent visit resulted in a pretty big spend but he did sell me a very high quality cigar case and humidor kit. Impulse buy, but I'm very happy with it Cons: -There have been a couple of times when I've looked a little sideways at this place. I've not always been convinced that the cigar inventory has been kept fresh to my personal expectations though I will admit I think Jack has gotten increasingly better at this over the years. I have gotten dry stuff before hence the rating, and I strongly suggest carefully inspecting before purchase. -There was a situation where I was nearly dealt a $50 OVERCHARGE. This did not seem to happen with a regular but when you mix up cigars and prices make sure you check the receipt -Price tags especially on the cigars are not always clearly marked (most are however), and it is a royal pain to sort through that stuff. Again why can't these places ever clearly mark by the box? :(
