Meanwhile, this is two months after I have fully registered him, and he has been there for a few weeks and started to get comfortable. So there I was, without childcare, and frantic. I called KinderCare late that Monday afternoon, after reading about them online, I spoke with Kayla on the phone and she was extremely helpful, put me at ease about everything, and was able to get my son in the next day and for the rest of the week with no problems, in their Discovery Preschool area. They made it very easy to get him in on such short notice, and I felt extremely comfortable with my son going there. He enjoyed his time there, and the staff kept me very informed and welcomed to all of the goings-on while my son was in their care. I would recommend their drop-in care to anyone I know who is in need of childcare at a short notice. They made my entire week better. And I will now be sending my son there on a more regular basis.

I also love that we receive updates and pictures throughout the day, which is always nice to see when we're working all day. I would recommend Cradle Club to anyone, they have been simply wonderful.

I couldn't ask for anything more than his happiness independent of us. They have the largest indoor play area of any daycare in Minnesota. They use cloth diapers, as do we, so that is a huge plus. They feed him organic foods with lots of fruits and vegetables with water, so he is developing healthy eating habits and he no constipation issues (I'm in healthcare, so I know it matters). The desk is very responsive, quickly answering any emailed questions.

Here are the reasons why: 1. 2 out of the 3 teachers only spoke Spanish. The only bilingual teacher did not arrive until 9 am. 2. The layout of the "front desk" is odd. It is not on the level you enter the building, and it is not staffed. If you have a question and cannot speak Spanish, there is no one to ask. 3. The building does not seem secure. There are multiple entry points, and no one is monitoring who is coming and going. 4. Poor communication-they did not return my phone calls regarding medical issues that occurred at the school. 5. Daily reports were not completely filled out, so it was difficult to know what she was eating/not eating. 6. The infants went outside 2x during the 3 months we were enrolled from June-September. 7. The infant & toddler rooms have no natural light. 8. They advertise "wholesome & organic" food, but the majority was processed and high in sugar. 9. My daughter would be starving every time after leaving Tierra. When I inquired if seconds were offered, I was told infants could share their neighboring child's plate if they didn't finish. 10. They dumped unused breast milk without communicating this to parents. 11. The owner refused to inform other parents when there was a communicable disease in the room. (pinkeye) 12. 2 of the 3 teachers in my daughter's room were not warm and friendly. They definitely seemed overwhelmed. 13. The room was not staffed 4:1 in the morning until 9 am. 2 things they did well-the head teacher was fantastic. The artwork we brought home was great.

And, we fell in love with the Montessori method because of Sonnet. It truly is amazing - aligns with positive/gentle parenting, but also allows children the freedom to develop at his/her own pace. We use so many of the Montessori concepts in our home! The previous reviewers comments do not represent the school we know and love. They seem to be disgruntled about policies on past due payments. The policies were clear when we enrolled and we had no issues with them, and they were completely reasonable policies (the same as in other centers we have enrolled in). They also mentioned having 3 different directors in less than a year - we were there during these changes, and unfortunately, the directors were maybe qualified on paper but did not actually do their job - so glad the owners made the staffing changes they did to bring in the right management!)

My son's teachers were amazing. They loved my son as if it were their own, they knew my husband and I by name and most of all my son was happy, educated and cared for. Miss Duab and Miss Linda were who my son primarily were with. They both are increadible teachers and care givers. They were professional educators, however, got to know our family on a very special level during our time at Amazing Beginnings. They were trusted and thorough with everything they did for our son.
