We were warmly greeted by the pastoral staff and other congregants sitting close to us. We felt right at home with upbeat worship music and bible-based, applicable teachings by a variety of teaching pastors. Our kids have felt comfortable joining the children's programs from day 1. It helps that they like to feed you! Cook outs, potlucks, ladies' tea parties, celebrations - are all a regular occurrence. We're now enjoying the summer BBQ clubs - families opening up their homes on a regular basis throughout the summer to host BBQs. Good food and a great way to get to know each other and our neighbors. There is no medical explanation it is just God watching over his sheep. I believe the Serpent on the Staff represents the staff Moses through in front of the Pharaoh that turned into a snake... God turned wood... into a living reptile... I don't think I will ever understand that.

He was an amazing pastor. After 30 some years, he "retired" from the pastor position and now Daniel Fender is our teaching pastor. He smiles always and is very engaging "in the pulpit" (we don't actually have a pulpit) and out. If you're looking for a church home, I recommend SW Hills. They have a wonderful youth pastor and youth programs, which include AWANA, women's ministry, men's ministry, music ministry, etc. It's big enough, but not so big that you won't see the same people when you go.

I have enjoyed the women's discipleship program, and the opportunity to connect and engage with women of various walks of life through this, and other women's ministries here.
