This is where I attended church in Beaverton and where I got baptized in 1998. I still remember Pastor Ron Mehl. He dedicated baby boy and gave him a letter to open at age 12. I was sad to hear he went to be with the Lord not long after I left Beaverton. Glad to be back to visit and see the name change with new logo. This is still my spiritual home. Home church! I've been there for 13 years and grateful for all the experiences I had there!

Well it is BIG. And that makes it so very easy to get lost and be just another face in the crowd. We have been attending for about 18 months, and the preaching is solid, based on The Word, the worship is good as well. My issue with it here, is that it is REALLY hard to get connected to people. I didn't love the program offered for moms, as it is so surface and basic IMO. I want to dig in deep and be real with people, not act like everything is great and smile and lie. I am really hoping I find more authenticity, as that is what is truly lacking. What I LOVE is the kids program. My kids both LOVE being at this church and that matters a whole lot to me. I'm all in until God tells us to move, and I already know where I want to be, but until then I am hoping we can find more depth. read more

IDK why God needed Sophia (my 7 month 2 day old daughter) but she is in a better place with no hurt or sorrow. Pure love and joy. She is home. I've ask myself why so many times the last few weeks. I may never know the answer but I do know God doesn't give things to people who are not prepared or does not have the tools to fulfill his prophecy. I thought in the beginning I was a being punished and I felt so much hurt and guilt like I wasn't a good enough mother, however, it's not that at all. If I wasn't gonna be a good enough mother God would not have blessed me with such a precious gift from heaven. It was simply her time. I miss her dearly and not a day goes by that I don't think of her and there still hasn't been a day that I have not cried but it's not goodbye, more like, I'll see you soon. Through this difficult time God has stood by me. He has and is helping me through this all. I never really went to church before. I always told myself I was going to but I never wanted to go alone. I always had an excuse. I don't know who this message is for but I hope I've touch someone in some type of way. I was not alone and I am never alone. Whatever you are going through and whatever makes you feel like your world is ending... just know, it is not. This is just the beginning. You are what you make of it. You are blessed. I would like to invite you all to come to Church with me Sunday. If you've thought about it for sometime now this might just be your sign. If you wanna go alone go for it. If you want me to help you take a step of faith, I'm here and I'll be right there with you. I didn't always go to church because growing up I went to church and it just wasn't for me. Church is for everyone it's just a matter of finding your church. Someone once told me to go church hopping. I had the intentions of doing that but the first church I walked into, after Sophia went with God, that was my home. I felt it. I can't describe the feeling but Foursquare is my home. This is a great church that I've been attending for 9 months!! It is a large church with many opportunities to get to know other people if you take initiative to get involved! I've been a part of small group classes, children's ministry, monthly worship & praise nights, woman's nights and Mosaic international group. Don't just sit in a pew but find ways to use your gifts for the community and you'll find yourself having the sense of belonging. I love all the ministries that are offered for the different seasons of our lives. senior Pastor Randy hears the Word of God and communicates it clearly, I love his sense of humor (I'm probably the loudest one laughing at his jokes), and his team of pastors and staff are awesome! I would consider myself an agnostic or atheist and attended this church to pay off a debt that I owed to a member of the church. I was raised Southern Baptist so this evangelical church was a new experience for me. The music was great, the folks were friendly and welcoming. I liked the band. Regarding the negative review, I don't know how any one could give a negative review of Beaverton Foursquare Church. From what they said, we believe they were talking about a different church. We have been going for over eight years, and we believe it is the best church in the Beaverton-Portland market, and one of the best churches we have attended. Randy, the pastor of the church, is extremely spiritual and contemporary. He brings the bible to life. He also has a great sense of humor. They have incredibly excellent and contemporary musicians and vocalists'. Both the staff and the congregation are extremely loving, friendly and kind. They have an incredible Sunday School, sending a number of young people to camp every summer, including those who can't afford it. They do a lot of great work in the community, helping those who are struggling including the homeless. The church has three services on Sunday. BFF is a TRULY spirit filled, Christ centered church. NOT LDS church!!! Everything is based on Biblical truth.Our family are so blessed to call this our home church. Pastor Randy leads with integrity,a solid godly,family man,just a real genuine person. They have every Ministry local and global, very transparent wih how they manage money. The Children's ministry is unparalleled by any church I've ever been before. I have been a Christian for 30 years and lived in Asia and USA, and have been to many churches around the world. Never before I see staff so dedicated and volunteers,I mean volunteers who put in the hours day in and day out so devoted to building the faith of our kids. The amount of work and care they give to our kids is amazing but most impressively the congregation exudes LOVE and TRUTH,which is such a delicate balance. We are moving to MA. And we are super sad because I don't think we can ever replicate this experience ! read more
