He will give you the options for what is available to you and for your problem. the pros and cons and a rough price estimate and most importantly not rush you to make any decision in the moment. I personally had to have quit a bit of work done and he was patient with me and made me very comfortable just taking care of one thing at a time. Another bit of information- My brother was the same, not keen on going to the dentist, had horrible horrible pain and finally he looked like a chipmunk- his infections were SOOO BAD- he made an appointment to see Dr. Scarsellone and never looked back...It was actually scary for awhile because his infection was so bad, he had to go to the hospital for IV antibiotics for a week 3 times a day because regular pills would not help. His gum line was swollen over his actual teeth...but put into the hands of Dr. Scarsellone he was taken care of patiently. Dr. Scarsellone took it one step at a time and made sure he got better and his teeth back under control. My brother now raves about him!!! Most people ask how the dental hygienists are...Again not my favourite thing to do- but I do go and they are very good as well. Sharon has been super to me. The receptionist is wicked- will help you make sure your work and appointments are spaced out correctly so that you can maximize your benefits. I was told via text message that I will no long be able to make an appointment because I didn't give them 24 hours notice for the cancelation. There are plenty of dental offices in the area. I would suggest people use them 1st or go to the emergency dental center for compassionate dental care. Again Stay away from this dental office. They don't treat people with disabilities with anything close to respect.

Not everyone enjoys the dentist but I actually like it. The reason being is I like my dentist and her staff. I don't really enjoy practically laying down with my mouth open, with saw like sounds coming from it but there are tvs to distract you from all the noise. The dentists also speak Cantonese which is good for people who are more comfortable conversing in this language. Through the years there have been some new staff, which haven't been as good as some of the longer staff, and I wished they didn't do work on my teeth. I really appreciated when I didn't have health coverage that they took this into consideration. It's always nice to receive a toothbrush and floss when you leave, although I prefer choosing a toy from the treasure box just like when I was a kid. I will keep coming back as long as the dentists and long time staff continue to work here.

Very impressed with this clinic…read more I was able to get in as a new patient right away with a first one hour consultation. The hour cleaning was booked following that and i was also able to get in again for a filling all in the same month. The dental assistants, dentist and receptionist were all very friendly and informative of what they were doing and how things work. It's nice to learn as you go. They do direct billing for insurance claims and upon my first visit my new balance was something around five dollars which they didn't end up charging me for. Also if you work near Whyte Ave and have an iRedeem card they offer 10% off your exams as a bonus. This is a floride free clinic and their approach to dental health is fabulous. A few of the cleaning processes I have never come across. I'd suggest trying it!
