I dropped off a stack of clothes about two weeks ago, and picked up this afternoon. Upon arriving home, I realized that my white blouse (a white button up, long sleeve) had yellow streaks on both sleeves as well as sporting on the front by the collar. The shirt did not have stains before I brought it in and I asked for a dry cleaning. I took the shirt back about 10 minutes later. The woman proceeded to tell me that the shirt was like that when I brought it in (a $200 shirt in like new condition). She would not take accountability for the staining and insisted that I did not know what I was talking about--as though I didn't know what my own clothes looked like before I brought them in. She gave me my $8 back unprompted and commented that she could try stain removal AGAIN. This wasn't an "again" situation--there was not significant yellowing to the top before I brought it there. I walked out, and went to another cleaner/tailor. This individual confirmed my suspicion: given the extent of the yellowing, it's likely that the blouse reacted to something applied to it during cleaning. I should have known better--just two months ago, the sleeve of another sweater was damaged here following a repair (I didn't complain then because it was minor, but I should have). Based on my experience today, I do not believe that this business respects its customers and stands by its services. I hope that others have better luck.

After paying $55 in cash--no credit cards accepted--the coat was returned with the button stitched back on no better than I could have done myself, and with no spacer like the rest of the buttons still have. It looks dreadful, to be honest, and I won't be bringing anything back to this cleaner again.

Although I'm not familiar with their services, I became familiar with the "Jamaican man named Vincent" Last night my family and I dined at Jake's we noticed our truck parked in front of the laundromat which is a few doors down from Jake's . While my son and I walked to get into the car my husband stayed behind to wait for valet. I noticed a car was waiting to park, a couple at the same time there was another car which was a beat up old jeep that had his reverse light on. I pulled out of the space to wait for my husband, I have to say it was a little over 5min. By then, I'm saying to myself what's taking so long, before I could get out of our truck to check my husband came and said this man just punched this other man in the face and claimed that the man hit his car. I said "WHAT" that's not true. Not only did the man punch him, but the old punk ass ran into the Laundromat and came out with an iron stick. The couple went into the Mexican restaurant to which my husband was talking to them. By now I am livid turns out the punk ass old man was the Jamaican man that works in the Laundromat. The gentleman he assaulted did not want to press charges, but I sure want to . This old ass man is a menace and should have no job. He may think that he is getting away with something but trust just like I told him, Karma is a mother and it comes 10 fold. My heart goes out to that young man and his girlfriend, here it is a night of a nice dinner to celebrate life or whatever simply ruined by this OLD ASS UNEDUCATED PIECE OF GARBAGE. The "Friendly MAN NAMED VINCENT " is a men is NOT FRIENDLY and if you are the owner to this establishment you should be assume to have this piece of GARBAGE working for you. And by the way not that it matters the man Vincent assaulted was a young white man which doesn't mean anything. Vincent if that is your name and you were there last night 9/20 at 8pm...you ARE SIMPLY A PUNK simple , no one hit your old dingy jeep you were just mad that you missed the parking spot. I read the reviews on yelp about Allison being rude but chose to try it anyway. My mistake. I was told pick up was from 7-9pm so I made sure I was home. They did not show up until 9pm. I told them the instructions on how to call up to ring the buzzer so I could let them into the building. Allison then called me and started saying that I should have been more specific about there being two doors to ring even though it was the same instructions for both. She then caught an attitude and argued with me and told me she was not picking up my laundry anymore and she hung up. I never got the chance to but I will never use them. Allison was more than rude and neither her or the man she was with could understand how to get into my building. Very unprofessional.
