What a great shop. Unbelievably reasonable prices. I had two large Lambretta panels coated; Taint…read morePaint has SO MANY colors we found a perfect match to the rest of the bike's original paint. Done in less than a week even though the shop was busy with a trade show all weekend. I picked them up and these things are beautiful. It looks like base and clear 2 stage paint and here's the kicker... he charged me $50. When he told me 50 bucks I literally said "do you want to charge a bit more and make a little something for yourself?" From here on out anything that can be powdered will be done at Taint Paint.

I was looking to get my fork lowers for my softail powder coated. I found Roger's shop online and…read morebecause of his close proximity to me, I gave him a call to inquire about pricing and his availability. I spoke with Roger on Wednesday, 03/13/19 to see if he was open; he was and quoted me $75 for both fork lowers. I swung by his shop that morning and again clarified the price. Roger told me it would again cost $75 and he would have to sand blast the lowers before powder coating. Roger said he would get them done over the weekend and call me early the following week to pick them up. I didn't hear anything from Roger for a week and a half so I called him on Friday, 03/22/19, hoping they were done so I could get my bike put back together to ride that weekend. Roger began to tell me how busy he was so busy and he hadn't even started them; he once more stated he would call me the following week and they would be done. Roger finally called me today, 03/26/19 and stated my fork lowers were finished. He also added that I owed him another $30 for the sand blasting. I was thrown off by this because although I was aware of the sandblasting, in my two conversations with Roger he never mentioned the extra $30 fee. We ended our conversation and i later showed up at his shop during my lunch break. Roger brought out my fork lowers, but couldn't find my fork end. He did later find the fork end and I let him know that it was, "a bad deal" on how he wasn't punctual and how he was trying to charge me an extra $30 that he never mentioned. Roger stated he outsources to another company for his sandblasting work and I needed to pay the extra $30 in cash or a personal check. I again expressed my frustration and stated I did not have an cash on me. Roger stated he could take a card payment, but he would mark it up to an extra $45. When I asked Roger why the markup was so high, he proceeded to flip out. Roger began yelling that he had to catch a plane at 2pm although he early on the phone stated he was open until 4pm (At this point it was 1:30pm..no way he was catching that plane). Roger yelled, "I don't have time for your f***ing sh*t". Roger threw my credit card on the floor at my feet, X'd out my invoice, and told me to leave. He yelled, "I have 21,000 customers and you're the first person with a problem. I don't need your business!" I was shocked by his behavior as I was never rude to him, but only stated my frustration with his hidden fee. I honestly wish I could leave less than one star, but google won't let me. The powder coat job is even sub-par as there are divots and scratches on the coat. It could have been that I caught Roger on a bad day, but i recieved awful service. If you want a shop that is not punctual with hidden fees, low quality work, and that is extremely disrespectful, then Taint Paint is the shop for you.
