I booked a Tuesday 30min slot through Riverside Courthouse. I read a lot of peoples reviews the…read morenight before and I found them to be tippers to what to expect as this was not a "full blown" wedding that I was expecting anything more than vows. So for those who complained that they didn't get more than their 30 mins- they have offerings for Friday-Sunday through the church that you can do all the things you would maybe expect (decorating, throwing flower petals, full blown photo sessions). This is a HUGE step up from a courthouse wedding and by far the best option in the area if you just want to tie the knot and not be in a weird office space. Tippers: it's 30 mins, don't waste your time on the extras. They are unnecessary in the grand scheme of things- this church is vintage, beautiful in its own, and aesthetically all you need. When you get there the doors will be locked till a min or two before your time slot (if you knock or try to open the door- you are interrupting an ongoing wedding & security will tell you the same thing) At your time slot the pastor will text the booking persons number a link to make a payment for the slot ($142?) so be prepared with the card you want to put it on. This is starting your time slot & if you cannot get together that's part of your 30 mins. Once she receives the payment she will come out to have signatures on the marriage license paperwork (that you bring) and she needs identification from both parties. Options: you can pick to walk down how you want, I chose to have my dad walk me down as traditional. You can walk down separately, together, whatever you want. She really lets you do what you want from here on. She will ask if you want to play a song while you walk down and she will have you type it into the phone and it'll play over the speakers. She will ask you if you want traditional vows, if you want to say your own vows, or what have you. Because I read what people had to say, I asked a friend to come through and take photos (it's going to be a quick wedding, might as well have everyone not dread what they missed and still capture the cute moments). My friend was able to go up, down, around the aisles as he pleased to take a bunch of photos. I'd highly recommend this... setting up a tripod and having to trade off to take photos would have really taken too long in what we're allowed. The pastor was a sweet sweet lady! She laughed with us, made it really not stressful, and afterwards she files the marriage license paperwork for you!! So worth it! Once the vows are done she allows you the remaining of your time to take photos and we ended up trickling out 10 mins early. Again- highly recommend a photographer for your event.

I did go in a couple more times after booking to get pictures of the venue too and everyone was also super kind those times too. The Last month leading up to the wedding Put me into more communication with the venue, specifically Teresita who was so helpful! Teresita always answered my emails quickly, was kind when I needed to make some last minute changes to my layout and was super great during the rehearsal and day of the wedding. She really was the best! And the team that worked at our wedding were all amazing as well! On top of that, the venue is gorgeous! We got married in front of the manor, had cocktail hour in the center of the venue, and had the reception in the carriage house. It's such an amazing setup for any wedding. The property is amazing and the perfect backdrop for pictures too. Hard liquor isn't allowed in the venue but it honestly was not missed. This venue is DIY so you bring your own vendors but like I said, they have open houses with vendors and it's a great place to meet some (it's honestly so helpful when the vendors know the property). Their pricing online is very easy to find so no trying to guess how much it is like a lot of venues. The getting ready suites are super cute and perfect to set up in. And if your reception is inside the carriage house then it comes with tables and chairs. I think if there was one thing I would change it is that I wish we could have earlier access to the venue or be able to leave stuff for the wedding the night before. I will say a strong group of vendors does help with this so make sure you choose well. But overall, I would get married here again! I truly feel like our wedding day was perfect! (And tons of guests complimented the venue!)

It was the exactly what I wanted. The tables, walls, curtains, and lights were decorated to perfection. We were able to have karaoke and the kids loved it. There was a great sound system and the kids got their dance on. I also like the fact that the long beautiful curtains covered the windows so that people couldn't just walk by and see what was going on inside. An added plus was the facility had a nice size clean bathroom. Overall a 10/10, I have two other events coming up and I will be booking again!
