I've been wearing glasses or contacts for 17 years, so I've had a lot of experience with them. Her office has eye exams as well as a selection of frames to peruse. If they don't have something you like, you can always take your prescription somewhere else to get frames. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming; whenever I visit, I like to get a cup of coffee while I wait. The last thing I'll add is that they've actually moved from this address. They're now on Sheridan between 61st and 71st on the west side of the road; the name of the practice is "Advanced Eye Care." Overall, I have always liked this place. I am actually losing my eye insurance soon so I will be disappointed if I can't go here anymore.

For that appointment I showed early at presumably building A and gave them all my information. I was then redirected to building B where I had to again give them all of my information and have my picture taken. I then waited for over one hour in the building B lobby and was never called back. At that point I gave up and walked back to building A to talk with the office manager. The office manager wait added another ten or so minutes. Finally I was able to politely talk to the office manager. She mentioned that the previous office manager left last year. More importantly she said that they have had to reduce appointments by one half due to starting a new computer system from scratch. Dr. Langley proved to be a skilled surgeon for my cataracts. His office computer system, currently, is not ready for prime time. My only regret was I made a wrong choice by letting him to inject the recovery medicine into the first eye which caused a black wavy curtain to appear in that eye for some time. I should have selected drops for after the surgeries and did so for my second eye.

I had to call and schedule a new appointment. Apparently they did not have an opening at the time i requested, so no one called back! As I walked in the door one of the front desk staff was on the phone and the other one there completely ignored me and started talking to the person that walked in right after me! So rude and unprofessional. The doctor seemed okay and did what he's supposed to. In the middle of the appointment they made me walk to the "store" to pick out the glasses I like,. The whole experience seemed like it was geared towards up selling their glasses. I walked away thinking this could have been better but the worst was yet to come! I came back the next day with my wife and kids to pick my glasses. Admittedly we were there a few minutes before closing, but the entire staff was rude and made faces. The manager there did not seem interested in having us neither did the staff. This was certainly no Chick-fil-a, but more akin to a Walmart where staff seem disinterested. We are never going back!
