I expect they are successful because of the nearly captive audience of people staying at Safe Harbor marina. I honestly don't understand how any place stays in business when they rarely pick up the phone, and don't return voicemails. I definitely felt like I had to chase them down to throw money at them. Beyond the communication issues, my boat was brought in for an overheating issue. They replaced a raw water pump, and said they tested everything, and the boat was ready to go to Daytona. We didn't make it out of the Ft Pierce inlet before the engine overheated massively and filled the interior with steam. We cut it off and waited for SeaTow to drag us back to the dock. There were other issues that caused the overheating, so they don't get all the blame, but it's my opinion that their "testing" of the repair wasn't sufficient. I did have a positive experience with Nicole. She's super nice, and on point. She's the reason for the second star.

This is our first visit to this marina and we were thoroughly pleased. The staff has been very…read morefriendly and helpful and other boaters shared local knowledge for shopping, dining and events, however we came during Covid-19 so much of everything was closed. Another reason to come back, though. We were docked at the end of a t-dock and had a great view of the bridge and intercostal. Love the floating docks and locked gates to each pier to keep boats more secure. Much of the immediate area looks to be building new hotel, condos, shopping and a restaurant is under construction situated right at the marina which will have spectacular views looking over the marina and coastal waterways.

The "white meat fish" that is used for most dishes (unless of course you want to pay $2 extra for Mahi) is "PANGASIUS"; which is really Vietnamese Catfish!! (also called Panga, Gray Sole, Basa Fish & several other chic names). Raised in the Mekong River, this large, fast growing fish is becoming popular ( for restaurants to serve) because it's so cheap! Popular now in Europe, Warnings abound because these fish are teeming with high levels of poisons & bacteria, including industrial effluents, arsenic, DDT & it's metabolites, metal contaminants, etc, etc,. The reasons are that the Mekong River is one of the most polluted rivers on the planet; chemicals and "waste" are dumped directly into it. Add to this they are fed the dead fish & bones from local cleaning process & the fact that the females are injected with hormones derived from urine so they grow much quicker & produce eggs faster.... I can't believe I ate half of my portion!!! It's very bland & the flesh has a whitish-gray color. We had Conch Fritters - black on the outside/cornbread on the inside; and not very good. Mushroom Caps Stuffed w/ crabmeat - Good! However the menu states 4 large mushrooms & they brought 3 (no big deal except for $7.00 you expect what's promised). At the last minute, we were told this isn't going to happen. I asked to speak with Vanessa and her response which I heard over the radio was "Me coming to the office isn't going to change a thing...it's not happening" Her excuse was "We are too busy." I was the only boat out, there were zero customers there. In addition, the water pressure is poor, they don't have enough electrical outlets to charge batteries, and there aren't enough hose outlets. Last month when I used the boat I had to wait over 90 minutes to get a hose to clean my boat and flush the motors. Poor Customer Services + Lack of Ammenities = Terrible Experience.

The salads are healthy, tasty and filling. The menu changes frequently so you never get bored. Service has been great. The bar staff makes perfect drinks and even gets to know you well enough to have your drink on the bar as soon as they see you walk in the door. On top of that you cannot beat the views, especially at sunset.
