I received a call the day before my appt from Patty that there was an opening. Due to another appt., I arrived 90 minutes before my scheduled appt. The staff was so efficient, kind and compassionate. Patty got me checked in right away and Megan (assistant) came and started my appt. Megan explained everything as we went along. Dr. Jespersen was kind, calm and thorough. ($2000) Six months later I made the appointment and showed up for the work to be done on my teeth, and by then the price had risen to nearly $3000 That's almost 50% in a few months. I asked if they would honor the quote they had given me previously. Of course, they would not. So I politely, but firmly communicated my disappointment that they had raised the price so much in such a short amount of time. I was told to leave and don't come back, because I expressed my opinion on their priceing policies. Later, when I got home, I started thinking maybe the price increase was due to possible pandemic price gouging. Now, five years later, I've been referred to them again, and they still will not see me. So if you want to deal with some arrogant pricks, that feel they are above criticism, this is the place for you. This is what you get, when a business has a monopoly in an area. It's a small town.

For years I was a dental phobic and really struggled with dread and fear whenever I went to a dentist. Then I found Baxter Dental through the recommendation of a friend. From that first appointment onward I got a bit more at ease every time I went there. After about 2 years I came to realize that I was not going to get hurt there, that everything was explained in detail before any procedures were conducted, and that my concerns would be addressed at every turn. Employees remember me, ask about my family, and my job. I managed the pain for 3+ years by chewing on the opposite side of my mouth & not biting cold foods. When I finally got good insurance & a day off, I tried out Hom. Hom located decay & advised a crown-- no root canal. The staff was patient with me needing triple numbing & responsive in assisting with pain management. I had the crown seated yesterday and today I have ZERO pain! Hom saved me about a grand out of pocket & fixed my pain. I could not be happier!
