For years I was a dental phobic and really struggled with dread and fear whenever I went to a dentist. Then I found Baxter Dental through the recommendation of a friend. From that first appointment onward I got a bit more at ease every time I went there. After about 2 years I came to realize that I was not going to get hurt there, that everything was explained in detail before any procedures were conducted, and that my concerns would be addressed at every turn. Employees remember me, ask about my family, and my job. I realize that many things are recorded on my chart but they take the time to look up the smallest details like a particularly sensitive tooth etc. and make sure that it is numbed as needed for my comfort. I fully trust his skills- I think he loves what he does and he is very good at it. His staff was also very nice. They were sensitive to my TMJ and let me rest when I needed to. Hart and Olson is by far the best dental office I have been to. Dr. Olson is kind, competent, and pleasant. I've had a few hygienists here over the last couple years, and each have been excellent. However, if they late cancel your appointment they aren't accommodating for a re-schedule. Unless you can re-arrange your life expect to be several months out--as in at the time of your next cleaning. As a professional myself if I have to late cancel someone due to unforeseen circumstances I make sure to go above and beyond to accommodate a re-schedule that is convenient for the person because I value the time they set aside. I guess I should always remember that not everyone has that same level of professionalism.

Dr Andersen and crew have always been friendly and professional. They provide wonderful care. At 68 years old, I've been to a number of dentists over the years. Dr Andersen and staff are the best! I'd like to add that yesterday an old crown that had been placed by a prior dentist fractured and chipped off. I called Artisan Dental last evening to see if I could get in today. I got a return call at 7:15 this morning, was in their chair at 9 AM, and was done with a new crown at 11:15 AM. Thank you so much Rochelle, Dr Rehermann, and Cassie for such speedy, kind, and professional service. I have no idea how people could have had negative experiences. After going at least twice a year for 8 years, I've always been treated exceptionally well. I needed to be fixed fast since it was affecting my speech. After investigating, he had referred me to an oral surgeon but invited me back for regular dental visits. I did in fact, and a few months later they found a soft part of my last wisdom tooth. I came in and he and his team worked on cleaning out the decay and filling the tooth. I was amazed by the way the anesthesia was given, I didn't feel any pain when she shot my gum. Dr Stevens worked quickly to get my tooth fixed. I don't have any pain and and the cost was a feasible bill.

Now just a little history I have not been to a dentist in 10 years and well unfortunately im about to explain why I probably won't be going back to one for another 10 :-( I suffer from gum disease, my bone is diminishig as we speak all was confirmed the lady who did my x-rays was awesome then my dental hygienist came in. Not in her defense she is simply going based off her college degree and everything she was taught. But arguing with someone about their OWN BODY is a big no no in my opinion. She hit me RIGHT AWAY with the bullcrap on do you brush your teeth every day? do you drink energy drinks etc. I began to get defense BUT was able to check myself back and be nice simply stating that all of the women on my moms side SHE HAS 7 SISTERS btw and 2 brothers. all the women had full dentures before they hit the age of 40 ( all live in different states and see different dentists and practice different hygiene ) the common factor being children. ALL including my own mother (rip) had great teeth until after they started having babies. also I am tongue tied very badly with contributes to the way saliva and food get digested and torn apart anyhow I have a million reasons that go AGAINST me and my teeth. also the fact my jaw is not lined correctly I suffer from over bite as well as lock jaw and migraines BUT she wanted to skip all that laugh at me tell me NONE is hereditary ALSO that having children and your teeth health is a MYTH. yea.... but yet my moms brothers have no teeth problems ? hmmm strange. But again not her fault she paid big money to attend whatever school she went to to teach her how to become a robot to make MONEY. wich I will also add that as I was crying and shaking visibly upset terrified whatever.... she felt the need to mention that if I leave early it will be still be charged as a full visit.... thanks thats helpful in a time like that!? Good thing I have state insurance and yes I know thats like 90% of my problem if I need better care then I need to pay out the wazoo for private and better insurance also still running the risk of dealing with people who give zero cares in the world about who I am as a human or what I have been thru. I lost a bunch of sleep and had very high hopes but was let down yet again but the money hungry obsessed world we live in today. Oh but the dr was quick to give me MORE ANTIBIOTICS all tho I already informed them I was taking them already because I have a dr who actually does listen and knew my teeth were infected. But sure throw some more medication on it ..... thats not like not safe or bad for you or anything to double up on antibiotics geesh. But hey if you don have any MAJOR issues im sure this place would be great. and the lady can inform you not to drink fruit juice... clearly thats where I went wrong hahahahah
