All to find out that their sliding scale is not cheaper at all. We qualify for a 50% discount, but they just jack up their prices so high that half off is still much higher than anywhere else. I called six other clinics in La Crosse and they were all much cheaper full price. Then I went in to have a cavity filled. After the numbing wore off, I noticed that the filling was sitting too high, and then three days later, the filling came out. I went in to have it redone, and of course, they charged me for it, even though it was their fault it came out. They claimed that it was a different area than what they worked on before. But it was because of the filling being too high that the tooth was damaged. I've tried to argue this point to no avail. Customer service does not exist at this clinic. It's clear that their whole business model is just to take advantage of their patients.

The dentist never answered, just offered to show me the x-rays, which does me no good as I'm not a dentist. Got a second opinion from an oral surgeon. My teeth are just fine. Scenic Bluffs should be avoided at all costs as they lie and tell you expensive procedures are needed when they are not.

But after wasting a few trips going to the office over the course of a few months to set up getting a big implant procedure, ALL of the sudden Sarah and Dr. Tim told me they would not be making enough money on their contracted price with the insurance company and would only do it if I paid the full regular price ! ​​office manager, Sarah said they were now in the process of getting out of their contract with the insurance company. I immediately called my insurance company who said they were still a network provider and the Ins. had approved my procedure... Total beat and switch! Don't fall for Dr ​Tim's phony bedside manner!

I've been there for three appointments and every time they mix something up. Their receptionist is completely clueless when it comes to the billing portion. In my latest visit, they could not come up with a correct total right away, so I asked them to bill me. This was because I asked the hygenist, doctor, and the billing lady how much the cost would be, and I received three different numbers. They billed me incorrectly three times in a row, and now are not willing to email me a receipt of my recent work done. They are very, very difficult to work with!

No pain, no bite problems, no anything. My husband also goes to Dr. Moen and agrees 100%. In fact my hubby had 3 teeth repaired after an awful dentist in Prairie du Chien (who left suddenly around 2009) put three crowns in that resulted in bite problems and damage to a tooth. Dr. Moen fixed all those problems. Dr. Moen is professional, extremely high-skilled, and a perfectionist. His assistant is pleasant and friendly and has been with him, as the rest of his staff, for many years. I wish I had such a good dentist when I was young.
