What a fun surprise in Antioch!! Rivertown Treasure chest is an eclectic and unique co-op of vintage and handmade goods. They are located in the "downtown" which probably doesn't get a lot of foot traffic, given there are many empty store fronts. Well, I'm here to tell you, don't let its location be a deterrant. This shop has it all! From handmade jewelery, to comics, funky decor, clothing and more! I could have spent hours browsing their vast selection. Prices were very fair and they often have vendors with sales or promotions. They're very active on socials, where they share special events, discounts or new products coming in. Each vendor does a nice job displaying their items and it really was like a treasure hunt. Really nice owners, who were working the shop on a Sunday. They were excited to talk about their store and all the fun things they get in. If you love funky, vintage goods, locally made art and a nicely curated selection of decorative goods, Rivertown Treasure Chest if for you. A great place to hang out with your friends. The people are so friendly and catering. You will be surprise of the antique items that they have. Many items will bring back nostalgic memories of your childhood when you were growing up at your Grandparents' or your own house. My friends and I, always enjoy browsing around reminiscing and purchasing things. You'll be surprise how much the antique items are worth. I love love Antique Stores and Thrift Shops. This place is a cool find if you're into these kinds of shops. This one is in the Antioch Area. They have all kinds of goodies such as ceramic items, old records, clothes, collectible little trinkets, jewelry, plants and more. Oh, when you come make sure you go down to the basement (more things to look at). The staff were older people, they were so very nice, friendly and helpful. We came home with a few things. Not sure where to begin.... this little gem was a hidden treasure we stumbled upon and as far as antique co-ops go this store is amazing and affordable!! The customer service reminds me of times where people knew your name and your family and were happy to see you. We purchased many items and some of the vendors even offer discounts... all of us left with something because as I said there is something for everyone! Parking ample; there's even public lot near by at city hall, 10 star customer service, great prices, supports local co-op/small business owners, dog friendly (they even have treats for them! ) and great location!!! My brother and I took the long drive to Rivertown Treasure chest and I must say it was worth the drive:) The moment we stepped inside we were greeted warmly by the comic book man and the woman working in the register :) ...They we're both super helpful, nice and always made sure we were doing ok and if we needed any assistance which is a plus! my brother came for comics and I tagged along for comics and antiques they have it all! I bought a variety of things here from comics, planters, wall candle holders, old records and picture frames ... it was also awesome that some items that I picked up were also on sale if your unsure they will check all tags for you and let you know at the counter ... over all it was a fun experience here and I found a lot of treasures!! I always go into the Rivertown Treasure Chest when I am in downtown Antioch. They have a rich variety of items for sale from vintage to collectible to brand new. I have purchased things for myself, my home and for gifts at the Rivertown Treasure Chest. There are things for all ages there. Their prices are reasonable, they always wrap fragile items carefully so I can get them home in one piece. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rivertown Treasure Chest is a very upbeat place to shop. My favorite vintage store! My friend recommended trying this store when I was shopping for comic books. Derek was extremely helpful selecting the perfect gift for my nephew. I went to this store for the first time the Saturday before Easter. I don't know why I waited so long. I just loved the store. I could have spent the entire day there looking at all the beautiful items. I will spend many more days there in the future and when I get a bigger home I will feature many things from the artisans that feature in the store. read more

On 8 August 2019 three of us journeyed to this amazing, welcoming, fabulous place. I came from Fresno, another sister of my heart came from Mariposa, and the third motored from Lafayette. We're not pickers but we are discerning shoppers. This shop has it all! (Even ghosts if someone is a sensitive.) The selection of goodies is incredible, especially their carnival glass collection.
