This is definitely a somewhat hidden gem in Brentwood, found out about this place a couple of months back but haven't written a review. Terry has a side deal with Costco so you get these items up to 1/2 off the already good value you receive at Costco. I've found numerous items I needed on the cheap! If you don't like to save money don't come here, I'll be back real soon, customer service is also on point. I came in today 6/1/22 to check and see if and hidden deals were to be found, it looked more like the lost and found section. Bare shelves, higher prices and 0 customer service. We stopped by thinking this was a thrift store but I guess it's kind of better? There are some high prices items in here but they have an ongoing 50% sale so some things are actually worth buying. Like huge planters that normally got for $90 for about $25. They have things from toilets to beds and furniture. Stop by and check en out. You never know what you'll find. read more

It's a great store yiu never know what you ll find at great prices the majority of the time .. it's like looking for something you never thought you might find somewhere else.. they do get a good amount of furniture but call before you go as it may be sold already... just have to wait for another shipment.. if you see something don't leave it because it's going to be gone... sometimes more items than other times.. also they get Costco items and sell it 1/2 the price ... there is Jewelry also like I said a bit of this and that... it's a great place to browse through when you have time.. read more

This is my first time shopping at Terry's Twice As Nice in Brentwood. I have to say I was impressed with the merchandise when it came to the sale prices. I attached a couple photos and you can see the prices listed BUT the nice thing is that they had 50% off the blue tag prices and all clothes. So if an item was labeled for $14, it was technically only $7. They get a lot of things from Costco as well as Sams Club. If you like the clothes at Costco that are more of the staple items like workout pants, jackets and kids PJs this is the perfect place for you. Some drawbacks to the store was that I didn't receive very good service. You walk in and it's very much you see what you get. The store has a goodwill store feel and vibe even though the items are new. There are spindles with clothes, but the spindle sizes are all mixed up so be prepared to spend extra time digging. Some unique items that I saw today or Starbucks K cups. Costco trash bags, kids Carter's PJs, warm winter jackets, Christmas ornaments, holiday cookies, as well as sofas and furniture. They actually had a very nice brown sectional sofa in the front of their store listed for $340. That's a really good price. Overall I was very happy with my experience at Terry's when it came to pricing, again not service. I would shop there again. I was also told that merchandise changes on a daily basis depending on what they get in. Even though the items are new be prepared to dig as if you're at a thrift store. read more

I visited this store for the first time today. Even though I've lived here for 13 years! I drove by it tons of times and never knew what it was. Finally someone mentioned it to me. I found a few good dealS. Two pairs of woman's blue jeans for 17$. And a few other items. The woman at the check out was verY nice and helpful. My only suggestion, if the place was a bit more organized and some items set for decor, I believe they would make more sales. I might be wrong but, I enjoy a bright and artistic area to spend time shopping. BTW Terry. I would be more than happy to share some of my ideas with you. :) read more

When I greeted a member of the staff they weren't hospitable at all, and I noticed that none of them were wearing masks.

I was in this store for about 10 minutes and nobody greeted us. Items in there were pricy and were of terrible quality. The miscellaneous items were dollar tree quality for twice the price. read more

A gem in the suburbs of Brentwood country town. They have Knick nacks galore (Ariel voice). We purchased a water purifier thing for our apt sink. It was half off due to post-Costco bulk retail sale, and it sorta leaks but we're happy with it. I may come back for a bed headboard. They have clothes, furniture, even condoms. Lol. It's like a museum of cool things that makes you feel like you should've visited this spot for Christmas shopping instead of the chain stores like Ross or TJ max. No disrespect. For a place that gets shipments from costco I would expect the merchandise to be discounted from costco's original price. They do get some great stuff, but I just wish things were brought down in price. read more

I've come to Terry's Twice as Nice, here and there and I can say I've never been disappointed. All their items are for great prices, I've never had a staff be rude to me. It's a nice little corner thrift store I would say and I'm definitely gonna keep coming here. And if you're thinking about coming here please do. You seriously will not regret it. This store was recommended to me by a friend and I was surprised it was such a dump. The prices on cheap, out-styled clothes are too high for new or second hand, and everything else there was low quality and high prices...I think maybe they have friends writing these reviews.
