We placed our order at 6:59 PM and they did provide an expectation that the food wouldn't be ready until 8:30 PM which we were fine with because it was Mother's Day. I should note that we decided to contact the restaurant directly so we could ensure that they kept as much of our money as possible instead of using DoorDash/Skip the Dishes etc. We had nothing to do so we decided to head down to Thidas at 8:00, just in case our food was ready. When we arrived, there were about 7 delivery drivers for DoorDash/Skip the Dishes waiting as well which we weren't upset about at first. There was barely ANY communication about how long our order was going to be and there was no one at the front to speak to, outside of 5 minutes over the 45 minutes we were in there. THE REASON I WON'T BE GOING BACK - At about 8:45 PM (Almost 2 hours after we placed our orders), I started looking at the filled DoorDash/Skip the Dishes orders on the counter and noticed the times they were placed which were considerably after the time we placed our order (7:23 PM, 8:01 PM etc.). You CANNOT treat customers who choose to order directly from you like this and it's absolutely ridiculous that, if we had chosen to order through one of the food apps, we would get our food sooner. We ended up walking out at that point (8:50 pm). I'm sad to say you've lost a customer of 10 years and we'll need to find somewhere else who respects the customers trying to save them money.
