This home claims the nurse left but there is no accountability or responsibility being held for her un-disputable actions. This could be any of our loved ones on any day and completely unacceptable!! There needs to be a thorough investigation of this place and will be if I have anything to do with it.

Where do I begin on reviewing Isles of Boyton Beach Rehab and nursing center, at 3001 S Congress?…read more I'll start with how many wonderful employees there are. So many were amazing and would go out of their way to help. . The physical therapy and occupational therapy was such a blessing. I have never met a more friendlier group of residents and we all helped each other. Teamwork with other patients is essential for your emotional well being. You won't regret sitting outside and forming lifetime friendships. I'm sharing a video of my last morning when an RN made my dream come true and danced with me. The housekeeping department was amazing. Always kind and sympathetic if you had a need. The medication management can be somewhat confusing. They cannot give you what you want. This is not legal. They must get a doctor's order. The medication carts are very well aligned for optimum timing. Everything above is a 10* blessing. Now let's talk about issues. Many of the CNAs and staff are Haitian. Fabulous to be exposed to that but absolutely unacceptable when you spend your time talking your native language at an English facility and also talk about patients. They also think they're the boss of you if they don't approve (personally) of what you're doing. It took a couple of weeks for me to realize they are not the boss at all. If they have a patient go through the proper chain of command and stop bullying the patients. To the CNAs that sucked and there were more of you than less. Find a job you can be polite in or go back to school and get a higher education. However, if you choose not to speak English I'm pretty sure advanced education would be difficult. Work on speaking English unless you're in the break room! I was bullied so bad I tried to do a Baker Act on myself. When I wasn't Baker Acted the correct paperwork didn't come with me. It took over 4 hrs but the administrator was determined to help. Kudos to her and her kindness and patience. It was then I realized this was stopping immediately and I would do what I wanted within the facilities rules, not what they thought. I started recording the night shift primarily for their lack of respect. Don't let this scare you. Just don't accept less than you deserve. Food: absolutely unacceptable. I would order from Walmart everyday yogurt to satisfy my needs for food. Not well balanced food and much of it you couldn't even look at. Management does not make you a priority. They'll tell you what you want to hear with the most dishonest smile. They should report back that action was taken.

My father was in pain constantly and the staff ignored the call center. I would call the facility and ask for someone to help him. They would ignore me as well. Two women across the hall were crying and screaming in pain and ignored. The facilty is old and very drab. Stay away. We just moved him to Morse and it is a 180.
