It was very well lit-up and looked more interesting than sitting in a movie theater for the night, so we decided to go exploring and find it. Easier said than done. I actually had to call the place while on the road and ask "onto which unmarked road am I supposed to take a right or a left?" So when we eventually made it there, they knew it was us, and gave a big Hello!!! and even the business dog came over to greet us. Very easy and laid back family-owned business, and they all had a fun-loving attitude. Cut to the food: the burgers I had talked up for so long came out charred black and nearly inedible. I feel if we had sent them back, that grouchy lady may have huffed and spit on them. After all the work my family put into this place, trying to foster a friendly family atmosphere, and bragging it up to my friends...I had to APOLOGIZE to my friend for THEIR shitty service. I am deeply, deeply saddened and disappointed today. The employees clearly just despise their jobs. And when we got our food, this lady plops them on the table and walks away. No, "Enjoy your meal", "can I get you anything else," "can I refill your drinks". I was so grossed out at the bullied reputation we worked so hard for nearly 2 decades to build. I tried to redeem said ticket at their Zombus event and was told by the woman at the counter (the first thing she said to me) that she had been there for 10 years and there had never been a zombie survival event. Basically calling me a liar in front of my son. I tried to explain that I had just spent $150 on the night's event and wasn't trying to scam $10 worth of paintballs, but she insisted I was lying. I tried to call today to complain and it was her on the phone. She doubled down on calling me a liar, never apologized and then hung up when I naturally became upset. To top it off, we were charged for a fast pass on their gellyball event and there was no line for it - and most of the guns were broken anyway. Cool location but this last interaction will lead me to take my son elsewhere in the future. Not worth the rude staff.
