Great place for vegans ! The buffet has so many options and it is well preserved. Great location too. The service was a bit lacking, but it was later in the evening. I just loved all the options, the bread especially was great.

Riz Raz is a gem! First, a bit about me. I am a middle aged American man, certainly no vegetarian. We visited Riz Raz on my last night in Denmark, after three weeks of travelling all over the country. I had the Green Buffet and thought it was fantastic! There was actually too much for me to sample everything, but I liked everything I tried. The Watermelon and feta salad? Amazing! Fusion noodles ? Marvelous ! The fava bean salad? It will be on my mind until I return to Copenhagen. What a creative menu and masterful use of seasonings! I can't say enough good about this place. Thanks to the owners and chef for such a creative and delightful menu!

There are two locations which are both with walking distance of the shopping streets. Therefore Riz Raz is perfect for lunch or dinner. They have an a la carte menu, but the popular option is the buffet. I am not usually a fan of buffets because there are too many choices and I don't have the stomach to handle too much food at once. I must be getting old. . . The buffet's size is perfect for not going overboard, but still being able to have plenty to choose from. There are a few pasta dishes and pizza selections. But the true spotlight are the salads. The food was fresh and colorful. Yes, we did eat a lot but managed to stay away from the pizza and pasta. Therefore, we left satisfied without feeling too weighed down by the food.

Here's the sad part. I went there because they SPECIFICALLY advertise as having a gluten free buffet. It's even on the map that everyone gives out. And yet, no. The buffet was very small. Salads on one side, I could eat a few. And the whole other side was pizza, pasta, bread. none of which I could eat. They had no alternatives for me. And my friend that could eat it, thought it was the worst pizza he'd ever had. He had 1 bite. That's a problem. That's one wasted vacation meal I can't get back.

I always stop by RizRaz whenever I'm in Copenhagen. And for all those years the vegetarian/vegan buffet they offer has never disappointed. I'm not a buffet-lover in general but this food is so fresh, flavourful and varied with both cold and warm dishes. The small breads are really lovely too. The cold dishes includes fresh vegetables (yay for grated carrots!) but also hummus (wonderful), tzatziki and other sauces plus pasta and potato salads, creamy beetroots etc. The warm dishes are usually falafel (well-made), lasagna, grilled potato and pizza slices. The eat-all-you-want-price is very reasonable and the outdoor seating is highly recommended on warm evenings. Before the smoking ban it was quite awful to sit inside eating, very non-enjoyable. But that's of course not an issue anymore - enjoy!

Just a little bit of everything here. ;)

Being a vegetarian I'm just a sucker for a good sallad buffet, getting to choose what to put on your plate without being controlled by a menu is a good thing. Riz Raz had basically won me over upon entering, seeing the different types of salads, falafel, hummus plus much more. They have two floors with plenty of space but the actual buffet area on the bottom floor was a bit cramped for space when people were standing in line. With a good selection of salad, sauces and also warm food like the above mentioned falafel and meat (which I didn't try) plus what seemed to be a locally brewed beer you can't go wrong. They also had desserts in the form of jam and whipped cream, plus a (dry) chocolate cake. Good thing I'm more into food than dessert I guess. The sound level was quite loud upstairs. As I understood it they had different types of buffets depending on if you are there during the morning or afternoon. This was during the afternoon buffet. Prices were also good for being Copenhagen. All in all, recommended!

This was the perfect lunch. I loved the carrot and beet hummus, the pesto pasta salad, the falafel and tzaziki, pit bread, and all of the flavorful vegetable salads. Such a great deal!

Loving this place. Food: Forget about the menue. JUST ORDER THE BUFFET! You will be overwhelmed by the amount of vegetables, salad, lasagne, falafel and sauce. If meat is a must have, you might not like it. But for a vegetarian, this is the best place to find food in Copenhagen. Location & Service: Nice on the inside. Also centrally enough to the big shopping some of Copenhagen. Everything was clean. Staff was nice, friendly and very helping for any kind of questions.

Great dinner plates from the salads.

I never thought I would be saying this about porridge of all things. But, Grød truly opened my eyes…read morein terms of how I could prepare my daily oatmeal. We tried Grød at two locations: the Torvehallerne market and at 7Eleven. The market, I ordered the Oat Porridge which came with apples, roasted almonds and caramel sauce, my mom had the All In! and my dad had the oat waffle. All of us (mostly) left satisfied. My picky father loved his waffle. And I really enjoyed the porridge I had. The oats perfectly cooked, the apples and almonds gave it a nice textural contrast. Plus the caramel, which was more like a dulce de leche added the perfect amount of sweetness without being too sweet. My mom was a bit ambivalent because the All In was too sweet. But to be fair, All In includes all of their toppings. Including chocolate and caramel so her assessment was fair! The Grød at 7Eleven had this wonderful chia pudding, layered with yogurt, natural peanut butter, a berry compote and nuts and I was obsessed. So simple, yet so wholesome. I found a cup at the airport and proceeded to import it back to the States. Overall, it was definitely worth a visit (or 2) to have my mind blown. Grød may not have intended it but this lil Westerner is now leveling up her oats game thanks to their menu!

Still, I wouldn't go back. There was another place right behind them and across the way that looked like it was much better Chicken skewers etc. I suggest you try that instead.
