With over 15 years of global marine engineering experience, our background includes work with industry leaders like BP, Maersk, and Technip. Today, we bring that same level of expertise to the Gulf Coast, offering fast, reliable, and honest service that keeps every type of vessel running smoothly.
Meet the Business Owner: Ross J.
Making the move from Glasgow Scotland, I’ve spent most of my life working on boats and engines, both here in the Gulf and around the world. My career started with Maersk and later BP, where I worked offshore leading engineering teams and solving problems under pressure. Those years gave me the skills and experience to handle just about any marine engine challenge that comes my way.
After more than 15 years in the industry, I decided to start RJ Marine Systems in Mobile so I could put that knowledge to work helping local boat owners. For me, this isn’t just about fixing engines — it’s about making sure you can enjoy your time on the water without worrying about breakdowns.
Whether you run a fishing charter, own a yacht, or just love spending weekends on the bay, I take pride in treating every vessel like it’s my own and getting you back out on the water as quickly and reliably as possible.
