(this is a detailed account, but the gist is that Jose worked for the most reputable company in this industry, until the owner passed away without any legacy plans and therefore it was shut down... MY RESULTS ARE PHENOMENAL; LOOKS BRAND NEW! Here's my detailed experience w/ JP Bath Refinishing: I am the type of person who keeps his yard impeccable and always has projects. My cars and truck are always spotless and decked out, and I take pride in everything because I am grateful. BUT, I am always busy and I just paid no attention to the bath tub/shower combo. BAD CHOICE! It began to look AWFUL! EMBARRASSING! When I started making a point to make sure nobody saw it, I knew it was time to take action! Given the condition, I started looking around at different options for replacing the tub and having it re-tiled. It certainly was not going to be cheap! FORTUNATELY, I have friends in property management and they get to deal with the neglect issue all the time. They told me some horror stories, but also informed me that I did have other options, besides reaching deep into my pockets! The option was refinishing, and that made perfect sense, because without it, apartment, complexes, and other landlords would be buying an incredibly huge number of bathtubs! That got me thinking about a commercial with a jingle that I heard all growing up AND for a business that provided the exact service I needed. In fact, it was even a TV commercial and a guy with a top hat would come out of the bathtub. I think just with a bathing suit, but that visual certainly sticks in my head! The company was Bath Tub Refinishers, and the last part of their jingle said: "Your tub and tile will put on a smile." I asked around & learned that the owner had passed away very recently, apparently, with no contingency plan, so the company was essentially no more. I got VERY LUCKY because I also learned that the essential resource behind the company, the guy who had all the actual skills and experience, had decided to continue to utilize his exceptional talent and start his own business, which is how I came across Jose, the owner/operator of JP Bath Refinishing! This was ideal, because in a way, it cut out the middleman, and I was able to work with Jose directly. He told me what he could do, said it was definitely the type of damage he fixes, and he was right. JP transformed my bathtub, which was in a completely unacceptable & embarrassing condition, and made it look like a brand new bath tub and tile job! I just think about the money I saved, and the fact that I didn't throw away something that was perfectly good and repairable! I would recommend Jose and his company to anyone and everyone who needs their bath tub or shower refinished. If you're like me, and you think you need a new one, but don't wanna pay a fortune, then let him work his magic! I'm just in awe and had to leave a review! I have accepted the fact I'm not gonna get my money however I do not understand why he keeps up this weird thing where he wants me to think he gonna pay me? Must make him feel like he isn't doing shady business. He must believe his own lies and that makes him feel better. What ever makes him feel like less a bad person for ripping off a small local business who is just starting out. And I did everything he wanted done so quickly and great quality. Even still delivered him his items after he didn't pay me because I am a stand up person. And there no point in throwing away his shirts and decals, they were already made he might as well have them. He has again completely stopped responding to my messages and ignoring me. I just really don't understand why he would reach out to me contact me and promise me he gonna pay multiple different times then not follow thru. Why not just have left it alone cuz now you look like an even more shady person who clearly never had the intentions to pay me. We moved into a house with the…read moreoriginal 1960 wood flooring that was in good shape, but had some bad patching jobs and also a gas floor heater that was no longer hooked up. They helped me find someone to remove the gas floor heater, patched the flooring where the cut-out left a huge hole, and wove in beautiful wood to match fixing all of the old bad patch jobs. Our floors went from dull and messy to absolutely beautiful. I was not able to come to town to check the color for the stain, but they recommended a color based on what I said I liked...over the phone! I trusted that it would work out and I was lucky to have them because the results were amazing. The team was kind, courteous, and met the deadline and the final price came in just under the estimate.
