They also told me after calling police they weren't going to leave my home. These people are vultures. Beware of calling these people. They will cheat you out of money. If I could give no stars I would. They also kept taking breaks and smoking outside of my home and went to my garage. My autistic son has asthma. Never asked permission. Just took complete advantage of me. I was in tears after this.

David, the owner, seems like a nice guy, and he did a good job replacing the tiles on my bathroom floor, and he (mostly his assistant) did a lot of painting, which on the whole looks good. But see below... The big issues were what I discovered after he was finished and had left: fresh paint stains in multiple areas, including the wood floor of my 19th century house and even furniture - which I cleaned up. Splattered paint near the ceiling of my kitchen which still, three months later, has not been patched, paint stains on my oriental rug, a major purchase 40 years ago, etc. David said he would pay for the rug damage, and I only asked for 50% of the very reasonable $175 cleaning cost. David told me to bill him via Zelle, something I said I'm not sure how to do. He already has my Zelle information, since that's how I paid him for the work. But after messaging him and emailing several times, he has not responded. And I still have paint streaks on the wall and an unpaid bill. So I can't recommend Handy Gentlemen. I think part of the problem is that David is under-manned and a bit overwhelmed, but not responding to my messages is unprofessional.

I can't stress those reading this enough to never use Corwin for any type of work. My experience…read morefrom them the past few weeks has been nothing short of the worst customer service of any sort I have ever experience. They were subcontracted by my contractor to do the framing and drywall for a basement job. The first 3 weeks and basically 90% of the work had been ok. The last 4 weeks have been nothing short of miserable. There was one area or ceiling left to finish which I paid the day they were allegedly done. That was a terrible move on my part because they were not done at all and left the ceiling an unfinished mess. This isn't even getting into the $6000 in overages they charged me for work that was agreed upon before the job even started. Yes, there was some additional work that was requested as the job progressed. But when I saw the newly updated quote with an additional $6k, I was shocked. But after some discussion and a few hundred dollars knocked off, I still paid them their balance only to be sitting here weeks later with an unfinished portion of ceiling and a newly noticed not plum window opening that Corwin tried to say they were not at fault then tried to blame their laborers. Now fast forward to late last week when I spoke to the owner who agreed to pay me back a sum of money that we agreed upon due to the issues at hand. I then get an email telling me their lawyer will reach out to me. What an absolute joke of a company and I will gladly take this to court. DO NOT USE CORWIN.
