I want to highly recommend RM tree service. They came to my cottage in Canandaigua and did such a careful and precise job. Several trees on my property were over my neighbor's roof and so it was a delicate job. Rob was working with his wonderful ground crew and they dropped everything safely and were so careful about damaging any surrounding bushes. His price was the best I had, and he came in right on the bid, which was super great since he did more than we had contracted for. His equipment was top of the line all new and clean and he is fully insured, unlike many of the companies that gave me a similar bid. I would use him for any job, large or small. I recommended him to my neighbors. He has so much work coming in that sometimes you have to wait for him, it is very much worth the wait and he is the only company that I will use from now on. They were polite, came on time and did a fantastic job. We would recommend doing business with them. They were professional and saved a small pine tree that was around the tree they had to remove. I do not recommend that you do business with Rob Mumerow and RM Tree service. We originally contracted with RM Tree service on Dec 27, 2018. The contract specified the removal of dead and dying ash trees in our hedgerow, on the wood line adjacent to our barn, and also on the wood line adjacent to the street. During early April, about one third of the work was completed. Rob billed for half and indicated that he would finish the job when conditions dried up. We paid the invoice on April 18, 2019. Rob never returned to finish the job, and never replied to my messages. On July 14, believing that Rob may have felt that he underbid our project, I invited him to stop by where we could jointly reassess the project scope and cost. Again no reply. On August 13, after a couple of more messages from me, Rob said that he was too currently too busy to finish the contracted work. I asked for a definite commitment to complete the job by the end of November and indicated that I needed a positive response by Saturday, July 17. Again nothing from Rob.
