God guided me to go to this college. For a reason. I said a prayer to go to college and I should have gone into culinary school. But then some talked me into going into healthcare. I paid my way to college. I respected every professor on that campus. And now I stand in 2025 and find out that you fired a professor of biology. For stating what??? I will never give anything less than five stars for this college. Firing the professor? There is only biological male. biological females. told the x-ray tech back then that I didn't believe in 1997 Yes, I broke my spine. I wish I would've listened to the master PT. Yes I did. I helped the nurse. Retired LPTA. And CI in SC. By the APTA. You know that I had a doctor save me at the age of 50. That doctor saved me. Because I am a 100% biological female. You know that my bones are super strong now. Cow's Milk All because I didn't take hormone replacement therapy too. I'm a retired American citizen. With a plate on my neck. I'm allergic to pharmaceutical general anesthesia and the pain medicine of opioids. Bummer. Fall 2023 no medical insurance. Bummer. Back in 1998. We had to pass 78%. I didn't pass my Texas state board exam the first time. And I realized what I didn't study. But I sure did pass it the second time. Don't ever complain about this college!! You fired a professor?? Because of chromosomes? What went well? My final grades. And then passing the Texas state board. With flying colors.

I think the biggest issue with this college is it's enrollment and registration process and making…read moresure everything is squared away. I ended up attending this college after I had already received a bachelors degree from the university of Texas and another bachelors degree from Texas State University. I was in need of a simple occupational specialty award, and they had told me that I needed to go through the traditional enrollment process. I had to go in person on numerous occasions when my occupational skills award was supposed to be solely online. I encountered numerous issues on things that they did wrong on their end such as not updating my home college on the FASFA forms and not being able to register me telling me I needed to take a TSI when I was already a double bachelor degree major and other numerous things that I continuously had to make a very long drive up to San Antonio college just to get fixed and every single time I went up there I noticed that the people who were helping me were college students themselves who did not exactly understand the process very much at all. I'm not saying the college is a bad place to start, but it is most definitely an extremely difficult experience and it is extremely frustrating and on top of that the advisors usually don't answer you so you have to go in person either way, and attempt to figure out the ways of the classes that you need to register for on your own and gather the CRN numbers all by yourself. All around, I would highly recommend trying for Delmar College in Corpus Christi or attempting to try the Austin community college because if you did have to go in person, you would only need to go one time and they square you away pretty solid the first visit. I highly do not recommend this college though it is the college that eventually got me an occupational specialty award. It was an extremely difficult and frustrating and stressful process to even deal with this college. For anyone considering that actually reads this review, I genuinely hope you have other colleges in store for you and other backup plans. San Antonio college has been very well known to not get you registered on time and you get dropped from the courses either way. Once I had set up a payment plan I paid a couple of hundred dollars upfront and I have yet to receive that refund and it's been over two years now. I was a veteran and my college was supposed to be fully paid for, but the advisor did not enter it correctly. Something that had nothing to do on my end and completely on their end.
