A lot of items simply aren't labeled properly. For example, you'll see trays of quartz with vague Quality ranges like "from A+ to C," but no explanation of what that actually means. Because of this, prices often get decided at the register instead of on the shelf! Ouch! This leads directly to the real problem: whoever helps you can quote you a completely different price for the exact same item. !!! There's one older Asian lady you really want to avoid like plague, for example. no matter how high the prices are, she will always charge a triple the amount it cost. Very greedy. The upselling is aggressive and constant. Prices going up overall is understandable inflation happens. But when pricing isn't transparent, it opens the door to situations like this, and that's frustrating.
