My insurance company used them when I got locked out of my car and they never showed up. Tried to tell the insurance company that they came to where my car was but it wasn't there. I gave them about 10 minutes of grace after their eta before I decided to call and see what was the hold up just for it to go to voicemail twice. It is the worst service ever. I would suggest looking up another company. After paying $95, it took 3 hours for a 30-86 minute service according to their live update ETA, and then they were unresponsive to calls and texts. After 3 hours, the individual showed up, didn't speak, didnt check for IDs, unlocked the car, walked back to the van, and left. I generally don't leave bad reviews under businesses with a great understanding how it can affect their reputation but I normally don't encounter such horrible customer service. I unfortunately obtained a flat tire while on I-75, and requested tire change service through Mazdas Naples Advantage package. I was informed that my request of tire change was assigned to Road Runner USA. I was told an ETA of 19-40 minutes at 5:15PM when my request was assigned. At 6:45PM I decided to call Road Runners (3 times because they decline calls) for an update and was connected to the dispatcher who was clearly frustrated and projected his frustration into our call and angrily announced he received my request and couldn't give me ETA. Moreover, using the roadside assistance app/website was not helpful and it never gave ETA or location updates. At 7:30PM I decided to call FDOT (*347) and put in a service request for tire change. At 8:20PM, I decided to call Road Runners (4 times due to dispatcher declining my calls for help). Again , the dispatcher working 3/5/24 between the hrs of 5-9 , was unable to give ETA he claimed his driver was in Fort Myers on another case and I was told to wait longer. Shortly after , an officer stopped by and offered to stay with me until help arrives because, for context,I am a young female with a flat tire on the side of the highway, with a world like today, it's not safe! My safety was a concern but clearly wasn't for Road Runners 8:45PM arrives and so does FDOT (BIG THANKS TO THEM)! Tire was changed to a spare and the gentleman was pleasant and quick! After FDOT completed the service, a unknown caller calls and introduces himself as the driver from Road Runners USA making me aware he is ON HIS WAY FROM HIS HOUSE!! Why tell customers who are patiently waiting for your help that your driver is on the way when they are actually sitting at home??! UNPROFESSIONAL LIARS DO NOT USE THEM . read more

Showed up 2 hours late in his personal car. Refused to jump my car with anything besides his dollar-store batter "charger" and the tried to corner me into buying a $200 battery. I'm thankful this issue happened at home but god forbid if I had been in a different location. Absolute scam. read more

FRAUD ALERT!!!!!!!!!!! Do not call this service they are the most dishonest mechanics on earth. They sold me a junk, reconditioned battery and charged me $260 for service. I had to change this junk for a new battery 2 weeks later at the dealership because the car would not start due to a dead battery. Impossible to get thru to them to get an invoice. When a merchant would not provide you with an invoice that is a red flag for a scam. Service takes forever to arrive and when it arrives it comes with an attitude. read more

My wife accidentally locked the keys in the car this morning and so I called progressive roadside for a locksmith. Waited a good 2 hours, with the phone calls and estimated 10 min arrival. It was very frustrating to watch on the tracker and see them sit for an hour in one place and go almost 30-45 min the opposite direction. So I canceled and took a prybar and a auto rag and a long piece of copper soldering and was able to open my vehicle in less then 20 min. Would not recommend this company on my worst enemy. Will never call roadside assistance again! read more

I placed a call to Geico's Roadside Assistance for help with a flat tire. I work in healthcare and had to get to the hospital. I was so happy to hear that they would be at my location within 45 minutes. After and hour and a half with the hospital blowing my phone up, I reached out to Geico only to be told that the technician decided he was done for the night and cancelled without letting me or Geico know. You have to be a special kind of irresponsible, inconsiderate and unprofessional to allow those practices and behavior from your employees. read more

Ordered a lyft home and as I was getting into the lyft an unmarked black sedan pulled up saying he was there to help me with my car..... Ummm NO? This is unacceptable. I have Progressive Ins. and had to call for road side assistance for a flat tire. I was in a McDonald's parking lot and waited over 2 hours in the FL heat with my two dogs panting in the back seat. Called Progressive 4-5 times to check on the status of when Road Runners would arrive. It was always they are on their way or 10 min. Called Road Runners' office twice and went to voice mail and there was no room to leave a message. Third time, the owner answered and said someone would be there in 10 min. and hung up on me. Finally, a black car pulled up next to me with a female passenger and said he was there to fix my tire. He pulled a few basic items from his trunk. I asked for credentials and he said he didn't have any. Tow truck? Nope. I balked at having someone change my tire with no identification from Road Runners. I was told he could fix the flat now or I could wait two more hours for a tow truck. I said no and he left. Progressive wanted to call them back to get someone out there. I was adamant they get another service. Within 30 min. a professional service with a truck and proper uniform came and changed my tire in 10 min. He also called twice to update me on his arrival.
