My car wouldn't start and I thought I might need a tow. Another driver jump started my car an thought it was a dead battery. I had already called AAA who had contacted Coastal Towing. I called Coastal and told them I didn't think I would need a tow, could they send a battery. In a fairly short time they arrived and their person, Brandy, ran the diagnostics, said the battery was my only problem and installed a new one. She was very professional and had me on my way with a new battery quite quickly. I appreciate the effort in calling back the tow truck and providing me with a battery instead and providing a skilled person to fix my problem. I could have tried to go to a store, buy a battery and install it myself but I am 79, not as good as shape as I once was and didn't want to drive the jump started car anywhere. Better to have it fixed in the parking lot than to have it go dead somewhere else. AAA cost money and so does buying a battery but I feel both were money well spent. Thanks Coastal. Good job. We were stuck with our keys locked in trunk of car with no possible way to get in.. after calling AAA and they sent them out to help us we were very fortunate to have Anthony as the driver. He did more to help us then we ever expected and he went above and beyond as far as professionalism and guest service not customer service but he treat us like we were a guest of his and took care of us to ensure he got our car home and made sure we were able to get in the car and everything be okay before he left. They're a great service. Chances are that any time you're having your car towed, the circumstance necessitating the service is not a happy one. But it certainly makes it so so much better when the towing company is prompt (arriving half an hour before the estimated time), carefully and gently pulling your vehicle out of the ditch in two minutes or less, and being very polite and circumspect about the whole thing. No snide remarks about just how your battered, dusty vehicle ended up in said ditch less than 20 feet from your driveway. No aspersions on your character or driving skills. Recently used this company through AAA. Nothing but the highest praise. The young man was professional, polite, and went above and beyond. The shop my vehicle was taken to also was very impressed. He said the driver was very conscientious and careful with our vehicle; he said it was unusual to see a driver do this. He said many tow companies just drop the vehicles off anywhere and not be concerned; this driver asked them where they wanted it, etc. We will definitely use Coastal Towing again should the need arise. Broke down in Ft Myers early morning and called AAA. I was told 90 minute wait, 30 minutes later AAA called with revised info. IT'S NOW GONNA BE 2 HOURS. WHAT!!!! Not even 15 minutes later Coastal towing arrives and says let's get you out of here. I couldn't agree more. Funny thing is I was told a different company was coming, glad it was Coastal! A dead battery less than two hours after picking up a rental car from Enterprise at the airport. What a way to start a vacation! Via AAA, Enterprise sent Shawn out to pick up and tow the car back from FMB. Shawn arrived within the hour we first notified Enterprise. Assured us he would return with a better car than before. This company, working on a call by me to AAA, sent a wonderful driver and a tow truck. We had run the front of our car over one of the concrete blocks at the head of a parking spot. The result was that something dropped down and I had arranged a tow to our mechanic. The driver worked under the front of the car and reattached something so that I could drive the car to get it permanently fixed the next day. Many thanks to the company and employee! read more

Our car would not start even after we charged the battery for over an hour, instead of towing they tried to get it going with their jump box. Our car started and they made sure it ran for about 5 minutes so they could be sure it would run to get to our shop before leaving. It got us safely to the shop for repairs. Our car broke down on the highway and we called AAA. John from Coastal Towing was there in 40 minutes! We didn't have the special part needed to pull our car up onto the flatbed, so John rigged up a device to get the car up safely.
