The tow ITSELF was $400! $500 Recover fee for my wheel being popped off after the accident. $175 "admin fee" that they obviously couldn't give a clear answer for. $175 "yard fee", same explanation. $250 CLEANING FEE FOR BRAKE FLUID, $275/day to keep it in the tow yard, $180 in taxes, and some other charges I couldn't believe. I called expecting them to give no real answer as to why this pricing is absurdly high, likely because they'll just charge the insurance company who will then trickle it down to the driver. Bingo. Seems like it may be different if you go without insurance route (although his answer was "we wouldn't even tow it"), but I guarantee there's more ethical tows around, not hard to find.

I have an old Harley and unfortunately this is not the first time the bike has broken down. His truck was clean and the equipment looked well-kept, which was important to me since my bike was already damaged and I wanted it handled with care. Terrible and extremely unreliable service. State Farm dispatched this tow company to me TWO…read moreseparate times, and both times I was left waiting for hours only for the service to eventually be cancelled. The first time was especially frustrating because they claimed the driver had arrived, when no one ever showed up. I was there waiting and never saw a tow truck or received proper communication from the driver. Then after hours of waiting, the tow was cancelled. State Farm tried dispatching them again, and once again I waited for hours just for them to cancel. Having car trouble is already stressful enough without a tow company repeatedly accepting a job they apparently cannot complete. If you cannot make it, just communicate that instead of leaving someone stranded for hours. After two separate incidents, I would not consider this company dependable at all.
