The driver had good knowledge of motorcycles and offered some valuable insight into what the problem could be. He also loaded the bike up quickly and gently. I have an old Harley and unfortunately this is not the first time the bike has broken down. In the past another tow company took3 hours to arrive and charged a ridiculous rate to tow the bike from jersey to queens. These guys were fast and professional. It was 9pm, dark and the car was un-drivable. I called AAA to tow me to a AAA recommended garage. After over 4 hours of waiting, AAA told me they had no driver available to tow me, and that I should call a private towing company. It was after 1am and I was quite nervous. I called Power Lift Automotive and the dispatcher, Rob, answered the phone. He was very reassuring and said that Justin, his driver, would be there within 45 minutes - and he was. I was still nervous because I had to pay cash and leave my car with Justin whilst I got a cab home. But both Rob and Justin reassured me that Justin would take photos of the AAA service station and of my keys being dropped into their drop box - and I received many photos and a texted receipt. Today I called to get a proper receipt to present to AAA for reimbursement and spoke to Andy the owner. What a pleasure to deal with such a pleasant, reliable and competent team of people who put their customers needs and well-being first. Firstly I was told that this tow truck company would come and retrieve my car in less than an hour. It took over three hours with them constantly pushing the time later and later each time I called. Thankfully Elvis managed to get my car to the auto body shop in one piece and all was well! Upon getting my car from the auto body shop this morning and driving home i noticed that the tow hitch was still in the front of my car which i tried to pull and get out. I called the company since they mistakenly left it in and spoke to rich, Richard, who would not give me his last name although he obviously knew mine. He told me try to do it myself or come to Manhattan. I told him i couldn't and i wasn't coming out to Manhattan from Brooklyn for something that was their fault. He then had the nerve to ask me if i had a boyfriend or a husband to which i responded no I'm a single woman what in the world. He was beyond unprofessional and unhelpful!!!!! They were fast and nice. While there they noticed my tail light was busted. They ordered one right away and told me to come back the next day in the afternoon. I went two days later. I just showed up- they said stay in your car. They did it for me right there while I was waiting. Fast and nice and that's what I want. I can not speak to prices because it's a fleet vehicle so I never see the cost. This is not a fancy place where you go in, wait, have coffee in the lounge etc. It's a dirty- greasy garage- and as long as they stay as fast and courteous as they were- that's plenty good for me.

He was professional the whole time, arrived on schedule, was easy to talk to, and clearly knew his job. His truck was clean and the equipment looked well-kept, which was important to me since my bike was already damaged and I wanted it handled with care. He loaded it up gently and delivered it without any new scratches. This was honestly one of the best service experiences I've had in a long time. Damon was friendly and polite, and it didn't just feel like a business deal. It felt like he really cared about doing a good job.
