My kids run around and play on the arcades and draw on the chalk wall. There is also a private patio area. I crave the Diane Taco and their chipotle shrimp taco. Just so good. The best thing about this place I have to say is the service. Was immediately greeted when I walked in and the front was very friendly. I even got a drink on the house. The food itself was solid. I had the Chile lime steak, calamari, and chicken mango tacos. In my opinion, the chicken could have been seasoned more, but the taste was refreshing. We went to RRG last Friday. We had fish with onion rings. It was so good and fresh. The fish pieces were huge! We could have easily shared a basket. We could only eat about half. We had leftovers for dinner the next night paired with some fresh crab. We just popped the fish into the air dryer it was almost as good as the night before. When this place was a food truck, we got addicted to their pulled pork sandwiches. The only drawback was the long wait standing in the hot sun as it seemed they were either short staffed or only made one order at a time When we found out they had moved into the restaurant space, we were really excited to try it and to enjoy our favorite sandwich again. Unfortunately, we walked in and discovered the familiar long line at the order counter! When we finally got up to the counter to order, we found out they no longer serve the pulled pork sandwich and that it had become a pulled pork taco. We decided to try it plus an order of fish and chips. In the midst of the ordering process we realized that it was as if they had just moved the food truck indoors! Wait in line to order, drinks in a tub beside the counter, sauces, etc at the counter that you have to gather yourself , menu written on a board on the wall behind the counter... You seat yourself at a table and they yell your name when your order is ready for you to go get it from the counter, it seriously feels like a food truck experience, but just indoors Of course the price is higher. The food was good but for a serve yourself experience, I don't think we will go back. We really miss Cottonwood Eatery - the restaurant that was formerly in this location - and had hoped Roadrunner would be our new go to place locally. Oh my god. Okay, this is the best restaurant around here. Sure there are great steak houses but..its steak..anyone can do that. This place offers unique and a new experience. I was at Sun Oaks, watching a woman's pro tennis tournament. Wildcard was pouring beer, and I was hungry. I noticed a foot truck parked by the gate and figured, "What the hell? Might as well give 'em a try, even though I've not had my socks knocked off by the local food trucks. The tacos were hella. I think the tournament is going to have a different food truck every night, but if I'm the tournament director I'm asking Roadrunner Grill if they want the rest of the week. If the answer is yes, I'm calling the other food trucks and telling them their services are no longer needed, and they need to up their games if they want in next year. ALSO, DUDES OF REDDING!!! There are incredibly gorgeous lady tennis players who are phenomenal athletes doing their thing all week at Sun Oaks, and It's free to watch. Good beer and grub on sale. AMAZING FOOD! My husband and I have been wanting to try this place so last night we took my in-laws with us to try them out. The place was packed and we had to stand in line for about 5 minutes and worth the wait! It's kinda like cafeteria style, you order your food, find a table, then they call your name when it's ready. They serve most the food in paper containers. I had the chicken Caesar salad and it was one of the best I have had! Their homemade dressing was excellent. Very fresh salad. My husband had the shrimp Caesar salad and raved about how good it was. My in-laws had the burritos and said it was the best burrito they have ever had and they are in their 80's!!!! Went to the food truck gathering at Anderson river park and I was the only one in our group to choose Roadrunner. I was going to order the 3 tacos for $10, I went to the window and asked what's on the tacos. Obviously the owner, tells me meat, pico, and feta. I'm thinking maybe I'll just get one to try it first, so I change my order to just one taco. He tells me I will like it and I'll be back. So I get the three for $10. I'm glad I did! They were good tacos, very fresh and made to order, not some meat sitting around in a warmer. The rest of my group didn't have as good of luck at a different truck.
