Just the thought of buying cars and dealing with sales people and mechanics gives me anxiety so it's hard to believe I'm voluntarily giving a car dealership a good rating (I wanted to actually give a 4.5). I leased my car from here over 5 years ago and had a pleasant enough experience dealing directly with the manager. There was no hard sales, there was no classic negotiation tactics borrowed from Dale Carnegie - was just offered their best and after some thought, I took it. They also included a VIP membership which covered oil changes for the life of the car so long as you kept up with all your service and had them done at this location. At first I thought, this is how they get you: they lure you in with a free cheap service in exchange for committing overpriced, unnecessary maintenance. Over the last 5 years, I've found that this was completely untrue. I've price checked them against multiple mechanics around the city and have almost always found that Roadsport Honda costs the same if not less than others. They also offer deals and discounts throughout the year. I've never felt overly pushed to do any maintenance that wasn't necessary. The one time I did have an issue with service done, a manager contacted me immediately after and made it right. Admittedly, I don't have a lot to compare to, but I'm always pleasantly surprised by how streamlined their experience is, from texting you updates on your service, to being able to pay for your service online for express pick up, they do seem to try to care about the customer experience - which is rare in this city nowadays. Their staff all seem to be pretty friendly as well - also unusual. My only criticism is I wish they were more diligent with the phones (at least for service). I called 4-5 times at various points throughout the week, only one of which was answered and I only got 1 call back days later. Anyway, all-in-all, even though I wasn't planning on buying another Honda in the future, my experience with this dealership alone has made me muuuuuuuchhh more inclined to consider. 1 star Very disappointing experience with Roadsport Honda service department. Service Advisor (Alex Thai) I brought in my 2018 Honda HR-V after multiple warning lights came on and the vehicle started jerking/behaving abnormally, which appears to be related to a known HR-V CVT issue. The service advisor Alex Thai acknowledged there is a CVT-related campaign/software update, but immediately became dismissive and rude. Instead of calmly explaining the process, eligibility, diagnosis fee, or next steps, the conversation turned into comments about how I do not service my vehicle there and therefore I am "not their customer." I found that completely unprofessional. This vehicle was purchased from this dealership, and more importantly, Honda customers should be treated respectfully regardless of where routine service was performed. I fully understand that diagnosis may be required and that warranty/goodwill coverage is ultimately subject to Honda Canada's approval. My issue is with the attitude, tone, and lack of willingness to help. A customer dealing with a possible transmission issue should not be made to feel like a burden for asking reasonable questions about a known Honda campaign. I left the vehicle for diagnosis, but the overall service experience was extremely poor. I would not recommend this service department based on how I was treated. read more

Instead of the usual loog process Charles was very forthright as we were with him. Making sure both of our time was valued. bought a 30,000 dollar used car, after noticing the brakes squealing ( from the moment of the guy driving the car up for us) I had my mechanic look at it, who told me it is barely passing safety and the brakes needed replaced , dealership offset an amount of money I had paid to get it towed because day three of owning this car the battery failed and left my wife in a freezing cold parking lot which required a tow. this is the kind of tactics I'd expect from a fly by night corner used car lot, not " Honda " very disappointed in now having to make appointments for getting a brake job( week two of ownership, haven't even made a payment yet. Although I bought my car here, I moved away so I didn't really come here much. After a few years, coming back for a routine maintenance, I'm glad to see that the service was attentive and informative, and I didn't feel like I was pressured to purchase any services that I didn't go in for. I ended up staying at the dealership for a few hours, and they allowed me to sit at an available desk with my laptop to do work. They would keep me updated on the status of the car, what they were working on now, or would inform me of any recommendations. I agreed to some, but turned down others, and at no point did they make me feel bad for turning any services down. I'm also glad that they confirmed an issue that a prior shop had pointed out to me. It wasn't urgent at the time, but since Roadsport flagged it again now, and the situation had gotten a bit worse, I went ahead and had it addressed with Roadsport. You're going to be paying dealer prices for services - there's no getting away from that. But I was happy with how I was treated, and at the very end they re-enrolled me back into their VIP program that provides free oil changes during routine maintenance - this is usually for customers that bought their car at the dealership and continues to use them exclusively for maintenance. Since I moved back to the area after several years, they offered to enroll me again which I gladly accepted. read more

I was here last year to purchase several bulbs for my vehicle dashboard and then again a month back to get an emissions test. This time without an appointment, I drove into the Express Service bay hoping to get a much needed Transmission Fluid change. My vehicle arrival was registered into the service system by Alex along with the requested service. He had informed me there was 1.5 hours wait behind others and that was okay for me; I have time for my coffee and bagel plus write this review. I signed the paperwork to proceed with the estimated cost of $125 plus taxes for the job. Upon seating in the Customer Lounge, I received a dealer text message on my cell "...this is Alex, your Service Advisor@Roadsport Honda. If you need anything throughout your visit, reply to this text..". Now, Roadsport Honda has a Service Shuttle to take customers elsewhere while their vehicle set is being performed but I'm staying here. Pickup is also available by appointment. The lounge area has clean restrooms, a kids play area, a decades old video game machine, 4 big screens (...one showing vehicle status for each work order), complimentary coffee & tea, newspapers & magazines, and couch seating for 18 people. All the while, easy listening music fills the air to reduce stress; especially for those customers that may be expecting a large repair bill. I've found the service excellent and staff at this dealership professional and very friendly. Today was more of the same. My total bill was $135.38 and I was back on the road 1.5 hours after I dropped in! read more

Biggest scam of a dealership, worst service manager (Brian Tidd) ever I also work at a dealership and have never came across such a disrespectful person who gave no solution, they tricked me into paying diagnostic fee and gave me a false report, they wouldn't cover a part that was under warranty and pointed at a scratch and told me thats the reason the manufacture defect won't be covered. I wouldn't recommend anyone to service there cars at this scam dealership. Update: They deleted my dashcam footage of whatever they did to my car, plus looked through my footages, NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE HERE , BIGGEST SCAMMERS They don't care about anyone or look to solve anyones problem, the service manager told me straight up he doesn't care and just wants me to hang up to move onto scamming the next customers. read more

We drove over 2 hours to check out a couple of used CR-V's they had posted on Auto Trader. The one we really liked they had sold two weeks earlier and never updated Auto Trader. The other one had scratches all over the front bumper that had been fixed by the dealership poorly. Not even the same colour fix. Plus there were chips in the windshield. We looked at a few of the other ones available and almost all of them had scratches and chipped windshields. They refused to budge on price even though we proved to them that another Honda Dealership close by had ones in better condition for lower prices. I was not impressed with the service here at all. Very poor service from service staff. Only interested in your money. Denied to to honor warranty services. Even though I was in the system. They needed to see the warranty card. Told me to drive an hour home and come back. Just to glance at the card. Straight up poor service. Almost 2hrs for an oil change with appointment. The people at service there have no idea how to maintain there VIP customers. Since I bought my car I've always had Honda service it for everything and with how they treated me last week I'll never go back. It's all a money grab. They will try to force you to do fix something that doesn't need to be fixed. They told me if I didn't service my brakes with them they would take my VIP status away from me. My argument was my rotors and pads were changed a month ago and don't feel like I need to service BRAND NEW rotors and pads. Also told me I HAVE to rotate my tires and I didn't want to do that since I have to put my winter tires on in 2 weeks... the worst part about all this is that I was dealing with the service manager Raymond there.... never will I return, they lost a very loyal customer. read more

Came here for the first time to get (4) brand new tires. Both the parts man and service technicians were super friendly and helpful. They provided me with advice, recommendations and tips. The price is standard as with the other dealerships. They got my tires installed, balanced and aligned in just over an hour. Lots of parking, lots of couches for waiting or places to eat within walking distance. All in all, I would definitely will be returning here for my future needs as well as recommend them to my friends. read more

The representative kept selling me the Honda Civic and when I inquired about the other cars, he directed me to other American dealerships since they offer steeper discounts if that's what I am looking for. Went there to diagnose a check engine light when my car started throwing a couple of codes after a repair. They charged me for an hour of labour (their standard) and basically wrote up a quote to repair all possible parts that could cause those codes without even bothering to check if the parts were faulty (and I know they weren't). I already know what the codes were and explained the issue to the advisor before the examination and specified that I wanted them to figure out what was really causing the problem (it can be a bad part, electrical fault, bad ecu etc.). After an hour they basically came back with a quote for a bunch of repairs but said they couldn't confirm if it would fix the problem. They said they wouldn't even bother to look for the actual problem until I did the needless repairs (about $2k cost). I paid them to tell me less than what I found out through a 5 minute google search of the obd codes. Not the kind of superficial and incompetent service I expect form a dealer. read more
