After our massages, I saw the same employee sitting and using her iPhone rather than serving another customer. When I questioned why we were told that only 30-minute appointments were available, she claimed the next customer had changed their appointment at the last minute. She still did not offer to extend our sessions once that time became available. Her explanation did not seem credible to me. I was left with the impression that they preferred charging $50 for 30 minutes instead of $65 for one hour because two shorter sessions generate more money. I cannot prove their intention, but the way this was handled made me feel misled and taken advantage of. Afterward, I also noticed that two other Yelp reviewers described the same issue involving the $50/30 mins charge. Seeing other customers report a similar experience made me even more concerned that what happened to us may not have been an isolated incident. The room was also very stuffy, with little airflow. When I explained that I was uncomfortable and asked about air conditioning, her only response was, "No AC," with no concern or attempt to help. Because of the poor service and dismissive attitude, I did not leave a tip. She became visibly upset and told me tipping was mandatory. A tip should be based on the quality of service.
