They insist on doing all communication on a proprietary platform, which requires you establish a login (a truly unnecessary annoyance for simple questions containing no sensitive information). I attempted to give feedback by phone, and admittedly I was annoyed, but my sole point of contact Elmer repeatedly interrupted me in the process, talking over me, to tell me I was wrong. Realizing he had no interest in either my question or my feedback, I hung up before I even got the answer because I was getting angry. I recognize Elmer is an attorney, and is listed in his email signature as such, and as the GM so I'm guessing he has a higher opinion of what he has to say than what a customer is asking. In my opinion, he was condescending, and uninterested in feedback, about a friction point in a key part of the customer experience. This is the first time I've ever given a one star review, but I would absolutely not recommend.

And when they finally did answer, the day before signing, I didn't have enough time to coordinate with my bank to get the money from the sale deposited into the account that I preferred. Any decent escrow company/officer would have answered questions promptly and sent the forms ahead of time so we'd be prepared. Furthermore, they sent a notary to my house who announced that she was unvaccinated (by choice)!! We have a 5 yr old who CAN'T be vaccinated yet so having an unvaccinated person come to our house and sit at our kitchen table for an hour puts our child at risk. It was awkward and we were put on the spot to complete a signing we were uncomfortable with. Overall a very bad experience. Steer clear of CW Title and Escrow.

Three other couples we know had worked with Danielle and Andrea, one of them multiple times, which should already tell you everything you need to know. Andrea and Danielle quickly got to know us, what we were looking for, and our price range. We wanted to wait for the right house, and they adapted, sending us only homes we really liked, and occasionally surprised us with something we wouldn't have found ourselves. Andrea or Danielle would typically send us a video walkthrough with their feedback before we did an in person walkthrough, which was a HUGE time saver. They made every part of the process a breeze, but what really sticks out to me is that my wife and I felt like we could trust Andrea and Danielle. It was very clear they had our best interests at heart and the results speak for themselves: we couldn't be happier with our new house.

I cannot recommend the Seattle Home Savvy team enough. Danielle, Andrea, and Andi helped us buy…read moreour dream home in Seattle from across the country, in an exceptionally competitive market. They have a deep knowledge of the Seattle housing market and neighborhoods that made us feel immediately comfortable with their judgment and recommendations. They also took the time to get to know us and provided recommendations tailored to our needs. And they helped us navigate a very challenging interaction when we put an offer on a home. Buying a home in Seattle, especially from afar, is not easy, but we felt supported by and confident in Seattle Home Savvy throughout the process. We are so grateful for their help in getting us settled, and highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in Seattle.

Renting from Equity Residential was a horrible decision. This building was already in need of a…read moredeep clean when we first moved in, but I've noticed it has gotten significantly worse in the past several months. Dirt, bugs, garbage - even when cleaners come all they do is swifter and vacuum the hallways and spray air freshener, never a true deep clean. It is not uncommon to find dog poop/pee/vomit/dried blood(?), garbage, and other messes in the elevators and hallways. There are ongoing issues with theft from the mail room and garage. Additionally the common area is made available on PeerSpace to be rented out by people who don't even live in the building - so you can expect some complete strangers to be wandering the halls, not to mention the residents are still required to pay fees for a space that is not even exclusive to our community. The building seems to have constant maintenance issues and a lack of a communication surrounding them. In the first month or two that I lived here I put in more maintenance requests than I had in 5+ years of renting elsewhere because so many things were broken and not repaired before we moved in, I put that aside because they did make the repairs relatively quickly after I requested them. Management has acknowledged some of the bigger issues but we have not seen any corrective action be taken. Tenants are seeing steep rent increases despite a huge decline in quality of life.
