He replies to messages within minutes, making communication effortless. When it came time to list our property, we simply sent an email, and within a few days the lease was signed with a qualified tenant. It was truly a hands-free experience. David is very knowledgeable about the local rental market, pricing properties competitively. He conducts thorough background checks to ensure reliable, responsible tenants are placed. When maintenance issues arise, he addresses them promptly and professionally, never leaving anything unresolved. He's also built a trusted team of maintenance specialists and contractors who are experts in their respective fields. We recommend him highly.

To be transparent, we are property owners, so this review is from the owner's point of view. Having said that, he's been proactive in making sure the rental house is in a good shape, including regular annual maintenance. This is to ensure tenants get what they pay for. One thing David really stands out is his responsiveness and timely communications. Tips: believe it or not, best way to contact him is via email. He'll call me as soon as he's available whenever I ask him to call me via email. His email responses are mostly cryptic and straight to the point, and some folks may take that differently. But for us, we like his cut-to-the-chase, no-nonsense style. Believe us, we have had a different property manager before, and he may seem courteous, but his responsiveness and professionalism are not even close to David's.

There are people move in and out every month and yet I still have 2 housemates who stay for more than 2 years. I lived there last year and when I came back this year I still chose this place. I stayed at World House from November 2015 until January 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. As a research intern from Australia studying at UW for a short period of time (2 months) when I was looking for places to stay everywhere wanted 6, 12 even 24 month leases so finding a place that offered cheap monthly rent in such an idyllic location was a god sent. Firstly, as aforementioned the location is extremely convenient for someone studying at UW it is only 1 block away. It is also a 5-minute walk (~2 blocks) from groceries stores and restaurants (University Ave). Alternatively, it is a 10-minute walk from an outdoor shopping mall with more grocery stores and clothing stores (University Village). Getting Downtown is as easy as catching an express bus from University Ave and takes about 35 minutes to get to the iconic Pike Place public markets. The only thing that I regret is not staying longer!

They insist on doing all communication on a proprietary platform, which requires you establish a login (a truly unnecessary annoyance for simple questions containing no sensitive information). I attempted to give feedback by phone, and admittedly I was annoyed, but my sole point of contact Elmer repeatedly interrupted me in the process, talking over me, to tell me I was wrong. Realizing he had no interest in either my question or my feedback, I hung up before I even got the answer because I was getting angry. I recognize Elmer is an attorney, and is listed in his email signature as such, and as the GM so I'm guessing he has a higher opinion of what he has to say than what a customer is asking. In my opinion, he was condescending, and uninterested in feedback, about a friction point in a key part of the customer experience. This is the first time I've ever given a one star review, but I would absolutely not recommend.

And when they finally did answer, the day before signing, I didn't have enough time to coordinate with my bank to get the money from the sale deposited into the account that I preferred. Any decent escrow company/officer would have answered questions promptly and sent the forms ahead of time so we'd be prepared. Furthermore, they sent a notary to my house who announced that she was unvaccinated (by choice)!! We have a 5 yr old who CAN'T be vaccinated yet so having an unvaccinated person come to our house and sit at our kitchen table for an hour puts our child at risk. It was awkward and we were put on the spot to complete a signing we were uncomfortable with. Overall a very bad experience. Steer clear of CW Title and Escrow.
