At The Medlin Law Firm, we have helped Dallas clients deal with court notices that never reached them, calendar mistakes, confusion about reset dates, emergencies, and situations where the court did not have the full picture of why the appearance was missed. Our first move is to identify exactly what happened. We look at the court, the warrant status, the bond paperwork, the notice history, and whether the issue involves a simple missed setting or a separate allegation for failure to appear. That matters because the response should match the actual problem, not just the panic caused by the warrant. In Dallas, these situations can affect release conditions, plea options, and the court’s overall view of the case. We help clients address the missed appearance directly, choose the right strategy for getting back in front of the court, and work toward putting the matter in a more manageable position.

Now I'm on probation for three months, I owe the court over three hundred dollars and I was never asked if this was ok . He just tossed me under the buss because he didn't want to have to deal with arlington courts because they require him to be there in person and he can't do it from his office. Pure laziness. I'm in a far worse position now than i was before I hired this crook. If you have any sense keep looking DO NOT hire this man. You will regret it !!!!

I'm employed in an industry where I had to disclose it, and it was so embarrassing. Even my family felt I had let them down. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding your case, there is just a stigma associated with DWI's. My case was very complex and I felt that my chances of winning were slim. I went online and spent hours searching for the best lawyer I could find. I came across Buck's reviews and they just resonated with me. I called, we met the next day, and by the end of our conversation I had hope again. What gave me peace of mind throughout this whole process was how Buck, and his assistant Misha were so invested in this case. They promptly returned calls, addressed every single concern I had, and set all expectations. There was even another one of his colleagues helping during the trial. I was so impressed with how Buck handled the whole case. It was obvious that his experience as a former assistant DA gave us an edge. His passion for his work was evident throughout the entire trial. At the end, I was found not guilty! I would highly recommend Buck to anyone going through this intimidating process. Just call him, and see what he can do for you.

My experience with this firm has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I engaged their services in March/April of 2024 and was immediately asked to pay $6,000 upfront for the processing of my I-130 and I-485 forms. I promptly made the payment and was assigned to Cathy, who seemed to be the paralegal in charge of my case. She assured me that she would contact me soon to move things forward. Unfortunately, I waited two months without hearing anything from her. Assuming the process was simply taking time, I didn't push. However, after the long wait, I decided to call her. She finally got back to me with a list of required documents for both myself (the beneficiary) and my wife (the petitioner). I sent over the documents as quickly as I could, but after another period of waiting, I had to follow up again. This time, Cathy asked for more documents, including pictures and letters from family members regarding our marriage. By September, she was asking for our passports, which seemed reasonable, but at this point, I was frustrated. These documents should have been requested from the start, especially since she was already aware of the details of our case. It felt like they were asking for information piecemeal, only to delay things further. Then, although closing the case had been discussed, there had been no final decision from my side. Cathy mentioned that she would talk to the attorneys to explore the options, and that one of them would call me back. However, the case was closed without any further communication or resolution, leaving me with no progress to show for my $6,000 payment. She had also supposedly returned the money orders for the applications, but I never received them since November. I continued waiting for a call and, in late November, reached out again. Olivia informed me that Cathy was no longer with the firm, but assured me an attorney would return my call. I waited throughout the holiday season, and by the time January rolled around, I discovered that Cathy was no longer employed at the firm, and my case had been closed. Not only had I lost the money, but I also lost access to my case portal, and despite multiple attempts to get in touch with the attorney, my calls were ignored. Olivia confirmed that the attorney had received my message, but there was no effort to resolve my case or respond to my concerns. The lack of communication, lack of progress, and the firm's failure to fulfill their obligations left me feeling completely ignored.
