The dentist told me after several adjustments they would have to be relined again, as he had adjusted too much, and they were to loose. I was A little upset, and he told me "If I wasn't happy I could go somewhere else". every appointment I had with him he was not very friendly, actually sometimes rude. When he told me I could go somewhere else. I checked other superior dentists Reviews, which I didn't when I went to that dentist, which was a big mistake. I was impressed with Midwest dental reviews, I called to make an appointment the lady said they had no openings. I explained that my mouth was sore and causing a lot of discomfort, she said if you come in tomorrow we can squeeze you in. I was greeted with friendly smiles from the staff, the door was open for me and my walker. I was seen by Dr. Michelangelo David Aust. he listened to me, was very pleasant and professional as well as the staff. Turns out insurance would not cover as it had actually only been 8 months. I called Midwest Dental's office and spoke to HEIDI (billing? office manager?) And she was astonishingly rude. I just wanted to verify dates and services of last appt. and inform them I had been given incorrect information. She immediately escalated the situation by asking in a nasty tone if I was "just calling to vent" and "what do you think you're going to get out of this phone call"! How about verification of dates and services and an apology would be nice! I wasn't asking them to pay the bill. You can't leave their office without them prying your wallet out of your purse, so I knew that wasn't going to happen. Seriously, you have to meet with someone in billing after your appt. before you can leave their office. EVERY TIME! So think twice before making an appointment with them, there are much better options in Superior.

From the start of the call, the woman I spoke with had a rude and dismissive tone. When I asked if they were accepting new patients, she immediately focused on insurance and stated that they don't accept many plans and that many are out of network. When I shared our insurance information, she told me I needed to check with my insurance company. I explained that my husband had already confirmed they are in-network, but her tone became even more rude after that. She asked what we were looking for, and I explained that I'm currently having tooth pain and that we were also looking to establish routine care for my husband and daughter starting with cleanings. Throughout the conversation, she acted irritated and uninterested, as if she didn't want to be on the phone. She eventually stated that they are not scheduling new patients until August or September. Considering it is currently January, being told that cleanings and establishing care would be 7 months out was surprising. While availability is one thing, the lack of professionalism and poor communication made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, the interaction made it feel like new patients are not welcome. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one was not a good one.
