For some reason he seems to enjoy going to the dentist and is not scared at all. The technicians are wonderful and were very good with him. They took x rays, cleaned his teeth and were explaining everything to him as they went along. They also explained where he should brush and what parts he was missing. "Little circles" which he recites back at night when he brushes. Nice office and I like the way the exam room is set up. I was able to stand by him or sit on the bench and watch fro afar. He recently had to have his first and hopefully last cavity filled and they were great and he did great. They let him put on the headphones and sit back and watch Frozen. He did a great job.

I took 2 stars off because they still have a hygienist working there named Katie. I don't think she should be working with any children. The first few times she cleaned my daughter's teeth she was not very patient or friendly. Another time while my daughter was getting a cavity filled I was sitting on the little bench in the back room with my 3 year old son next to me. Katie came up to me and said " I can't believe you have him back here right now listening to that, you are scaring him" She was referring to another child that was getting multiple cavities filled and he was kicking and screaming the entire time. I told her that I wanted him to see what happens when you don't brush and floss your teeth. She rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Again... my son is 15 now and has not had 1 cavity! I really like my son's dentist or I would have found a different clinic to go to, because she was judging how I parent. The final straw is when I brought my daughter to a Pink concert years later and while we were waiting in line an obviously drunk woman bumped into my daughter and almost knocked her over, then gave my little girl a look like it was her fault and walked away talking about the (little brat) that ran into her. Guess who the drunk lady was... KATIE! So at the next appointment I requested that she NEVER work on my kids teeth... EVER! They never asked me why, I thought that was strange at first... but then I realized they must get complaints a lot about her. Every other employee is always kind, helpful, smiling and very patient with the kids. They deserve 5 stars but it only takes one bad person to ruin it for everyone else. Only got about 3 more years that my son can go here because he will be an adult after that. I highly recommend this place, just not Katie.

I got a crown and a cleaning, and I'm very happy with my crown (so far). The cons, however, are... - They wrote down my birthday incorrectly, which at first was hilarious because I was flattered that they thought I was 18 yo. But then I was concerned that they wrote down the month, day AND year incorrectly. - After receiving my Novocain injection before applying my new crown, the Dr. left the room to let it set in. Several minutes later, I got up and looked around to give the hint like "hey, I'm still in here, let's get this show on the road". FFwd to 40+ freakin minutes later! The Dr. returned and said there was an emergency, which is understandable, but someone could have told me while I waited impatiently, instead of just blinking at me when I poked me head out of the room. - After paying, I asked the receptionist if I could have a toothbrush... and she said no! Even though they just got hundreds of dollars out of my new crown, they couldn't spare a toothbrush (only after I got a cleaning, she said). Jeez. - When I still did end up coming back for a cleaning (and finally my toothbrush hehe), the dental assistant scraped my teeth SO aggressively that I asked her to stop. Oof. TL;DR My teeth are clean and my crown is holding up, but I experienced some really bizarre service!

Dr. "Kay" is gentle and caring. He always makes each visit comfortable and explains everything well. He is very calm. He also makes sure you are well numbed before procedures and adjusts accordingly throughout. The dental hygienist we usually have is delightful, gentle and very knowledgeable about everything. They explain things in a nonjudgmental manner. The front office staff (scheduling and billing) are kind, caring and very helpful. My daughter's front tooth broke in half. Dr. Kay was able to repair it by artistically creating the other half and matching it identically, making it look natural. The quality was so good it has lasted several years so far and still looks great. The office also plays KTIS in the background for an uplifting mood.

During my initial consult, we reviewed the photos they took of my teeth, and she had me point out which specific teeth I wanted her to focus on. She made it clear that I didn't have to commit to anything beyond what I was comfortable with, whether that was personally or financially, and that the plan could be tailored to my priorities. For my actual appointment, they offered me luxurious amenities from an entire menu! l got the heated neck pillow and headphones with cable TV, and they even surprised me with a smoothie afterwards! Dr. Horn also made sure to prep my lips with lip balm before starting anything, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole experience feel comfortable and genuinely caring. The results from my first appointment have been incredible and far exceeded any expectations I had. I remember saying during my initial consult that I just hoped to lessen some of the staining as much as possible, but it truly feels like it's almost entirely gone. I feel so happy and giddy when I look in the mirror now. I truly cannot recommend Dr. Horn and her team enough. Not only did they completely transform my smile, but they also transformed the way I feel about myself. For the first time in years, I feel confident, excited, and genuinely happy when I look in the mirror. I told them I clench and grind my teeth at night and needed a porcelain over metal crown. They didn't believe me. I cracked that first crown within a few days. Second crown was seated properly. And third crown was also not seated properly. I gave up, got a refund (which took a lot of fighting to get) and had my crown redone somewhere else. Avoid these guys like the plague!
