Been trying to find a job and staying hopeful. Came here to get one since I wasn't having much luck obtaining one yet. Desiree was very nice and helped set up an interview to get it going. It was made with Daniel. Front desk was very nice. Sent me to a room to wait. Appointment was at 10:30am. Arrived early. Brought my resume. This was the second time I had come in. The first time wasn't great. Staying hopeful. Just want to work and help a company. Nicole had me feel out another review document shortly after arriving. It just indicated some personal stuff like address and number. It wasn't Daniel after all. It was the same worker I had last time. Sunshine. She left me feeling hopeless last time and this time, after talking to her and receiving great feedback I couldn't be more hopeful. Also talked to Daniel who was very nice and notified me that it is a work in progress. They have a job for me. Just submitted background check to send to new job position. I was notified the job was for a call pharmaceutical center. Didnt hear anything back after signing and getting a background check. Received an e-mail and my background check was cleared. Followed up again and spoke to Sunshine who said it was being worked on and I would be contacted. Never heard back. Apparently if you recovered from a bad accident and dont look perfect, you aren't wanted. My gf did the same thing and was given a job in a week. This is my 3rd week with No response. I've done everything they asked or sent me. Guess that's not good enough. Followed up again today before submitting this and received no response. Emailed Sunshine. Not right. Refuse to give up. I have never been more unprofessionally treated. Every person in this town tells you to speak with Beau P and I did. The very first thing he told me was "Don't quit your job or I won't represent you!" When you are working in a toxic environment, you really don't need an employment agency's threats on top of it. As far as I'm concerned, not representing unemployed people (hey idiots you are an employment agency!) should be illegal. I'm guessing they have dramatically changed their tune since then because no one can get any qualified help after COVID. I have had very positive experiences with RHI outside of Fresno in LA and SF, most recently in San Jose, but would never go back to the Fresno office. No matter how qualified I was, I couldn't get anyone to return my calls after I had to quit my toxic job, even for temporary placements. read more

Let me begin by explaining that I do have past experience working with other temp agencies. I have never had such an unprofessional experience. I visited the office to drop off my updated resume. I met Desiree who explained she didn't do walk in interviews. I completely understood and she gave me her card and asked me to email her my resume and that she would arrange for a phone interview. After 7 days, I did not receive a response to my email. I decided to give her a call and follow up. On the phone she set up another call for the next day and even sent me a confirmation email. I never received the call. My time is valuable and I am a highly qualified candidate. I had three interviews set up on the day that this call was set up. I can't imagine how any positions get filled by this agency when there is complete lack of follow up. Stay away.. read more

Office Team is the only staffing agency in town worth bothering with. I've only had to deal with them twice in the past few years, but each time they came through and made things happen. PLUS, they offer all kinds of perks that other staffing agencies don't provide: -- They call you back. Seriously. If they aren't available to answer your call, they actually call you back. -- They find you jobs that AREN'T 50 miles away. Which is kinda cool. -- They match potential jobs to your skill set. If you're an accountant, they will actually find you "accountant"-type jobs, as opposed to trying to sell you on a "Strip-Club Security Coordinator" position. -- They're professional, and personable. They don't talk crap about your fellow job-seekers when you're within earshot (that is a thing, trust me), and they don't act like your visit is a pain in the @ss that disrupts their "Angry Birds" session (also a thing). This place is the real deal. If you have something that an employer wants, they will cut through the crap and place you, without the BS. To be honest I really have nothing good to say about them. I was offered 3 positions through them. The first one fell through for reasons I still don't understand. They let me choose between 2 other positions and then it went nowhere. I called a few days later to ask what was going on with the positions and Veronica informed me that they would "get me an interview". I have dealt with temp agencies in California and Oregon. Never have I dealt with a temp agency that simply got you interviews. Not that any of these details matter. I never heard from them about the position. Also, I spent several hours online applying to job listings that they had posted on sites like indeed etc. I never heard back from any of these either. I don't understand the efficiency of what they are doing there. I emailed them and told them that I was disappointed in how things were going and they immediately called me. I was ticked off that all of the sudden now they have the time to call, however, it's a read flag that they can't respond to me via email. Almost as if they don't want a response in print/writing. They asked me what they could do to rectify and I was blown away. What exactly do you think I want? I was trying to find employment. I'm not looking for a gift card to chucky cheese. I've tried reaching out to Ben or Jason but they "never seem to be available" since I'm always getting having to leave a voicemail or message with another person. I interviewed with Desiree about 5 months ago now, I'm more than qualified for the positions I see they have posted on the website, yet I haven't received a single interview, when I email my resume again and again for the positions they have open I get no response or follow up, and when I call to follow up with them directly over the phone I'm told they can take a message and then never call me back. I love the staff here...even though it is an uncertain environment for us job seekers, they do their best with trying to place you in a position that is best for everyone. It must be challenging for temp agencies to be in such a demanding industry! My search was kind of a tough one too, entry level Human Resources!! I've now had two Recruiters and the Branch Manager Sunshine help me and all three treated me the same with respect and professionalism! I've been able to obtain exposure in a field for promotion ONLY because of these people!!! And I've got two degrees, ha ha. Which definitely seems to not mean much to employers these days. Promises of employment abilities are highly over stated. I drove 45 minutes to sign papers for an assignment. I sign the papers, wait, then some guy comes out and shakes my hand and gives me a card and disappears. Really?? Then they call the next day and say they need a drug screen! I could have done that the first time! I'm broke and expected to drive ANOTHER hour and a half round trip?? Incompetent! I'm already broke and they wanted to make it worse??? Passing a drug screen is NO problem but MY GOD folks, get your act together! I never went back because I truly didn't feel valued. read more

I was registered in Accountemps agency in Fresno CA. When I went there, they gave me online Microsoft word, excel, and quickbooks tests to do online at home. I nailed it to high ninety's. So, I got a call for interview with the agency for the first time. They told me I had to look professionally and so on. I went there, the lady (Bobby) was dressed un-porfessionaly whatsoever. Seems like office need some classes about the dress code. Anyway, I did not even care about it. I just needed to get my foot in the door in accounting position since I was just graduated and had no experience. SInce my results from the tests were so high, the lady promised me that I will definitely get a position full time and advised me to be open from my part time job 8am-5pm for any time. Due to this advice and my hopes to get an opportunity I went ahead and told my job to adjust my schedule according Accountemps' needs, which almost got me fired from the job due to lack of availability. Second, and worst thing, right in a week or two, the same lady stopped responding my calls or emails. I had no communication and no answers if they have anything available. I thought the requirement was to be professional, but she, obviously, did not know what means to be professional in dress code and actions and no work ethics at all. So half a year waiting, I contacted one of the other her coworkers for administrative job positions. That's then actually the manager lady called me back and told me that I should not be expecting them to find me any position. I should be looking for a job on my own. Even though it was a case for me not looking for a job and waiting for them, she did not even cared that her employee ignored me for so long and most likely other people. Also, she mentioned that I had to reached out for her if bobby is not responding. Then, she stated that it was the first time she looked up my file and saw the results of my tests and what I was looking for. So it means, she doesn't even care what is going on in her office under her care. While requirements to be professional are very high towards people who seek for the position, office ladies are very unprofessional and rude. I would say if you really want to find a job, just look for it on your own. It will be waist of time and energy to contact these ladies. The office really really really need some classes about proper dress code and job ethics and professionalism. I would not even waist my time ever again to apply thru accountemps or even refer someone to sign up for it. read more

I answered a job ad on career builder and Veronica from Office Team called me. I scheduled and appointment to go to their office in Fig Garden to fill out an application, was there for almost an hour, not to mention 40 minutes to complete their online Prove It test. The said they had plenty of job opportunities, called me a few days later and said I was temp hired only to call five minutes later to say "No, sorry positon already filled." and that was pretty much the end of that. Three weeks later have had zero success with them. I can't even get them to answer my calls or even call back. If anybody needs a job, do not waste your time with this company, go to a temp company that has a real reputation for getting people hired. If I could I would give them a negative Five Star. read more
