I called Aerotek and got passed around then f'd off by text messages from Ponce. My suggestion to anyone seeking employment is to directly contact the business offering the job through Aerotek and tell them you have no confidence in that staffing company. The worst part though is your pay is seldom correct. I got a pay raise and they failed to give me the raise on my check. When they were notified it took them a month to reimburse me. But you will get work, and that's what matters. In fact, I got a gig right at my interview, for the very next day! It was a one-day gig changing lightbulbs, but still. Money. They called me for a couple more opportunities that didn't work out for various reasons, but a month or so later, they got me another one-day gig at an office, which turned into two days. On the second day, my recruiter called and offered me a temp-to-hire position at an office from which I type this very review. So, needless to say, they're very good at what they do. My recruiter, Kara, was very nice and worked round the clock for me without me lifting a finger (none of this email your availability every week business). Maybe I just got lucky, but as far as I'm concerned this is the place to start (and maybe finish!) your Portland job search.

The "account managers" at this place are literally there to make every penny they can off of you and can care less about you as a person. They only see you as a dollar sign. They care so little about the people that they contract that they don't even have a decent payroll system. You have to go to their branch location to drop off your timesheet and collect your paycheck every single week... even if you work across town... they don't care. THEY DONT HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT. This is a sorry excuse for an establishment. Inside and out. It's so distasteful, unprofessional, and ugly from top to bottom.
