I rarely write yelp reviews, but since we are still talking about this show the next day, I feel inclined to share our experience. My husband, my mom and I got tickets and we were worried because it looked like the audience was mostly empty, but for a Wednesday night in October, the audience was perfect. It was intimate in the magic dedicated theater space and we felt close to other audience members by the end. The performance was jaw dropping. In so many ways we are still saying "How the heck did he do that?!?!" This show could easily translate to a huge venue but I feel we were lucky to have such a close up performance that absolutely blew our minds. If you get a chance, go! read more

Holy cow, Robert Hall is absolutely hysterically on point, and totally vibes with his audience. We attended "Magic After Dark" which is adults only and it was filled with sexy, seductive, and hilariously raunchy jokes and performances. He incorporates the audience members and has them perform certain tasks that leave everyone on the floor. The improv is so good that we all have unexpected laughs that made the room shake. My fiancee and I got to participate and Robert let us take one of the papers that had my name/answer on it as a keepsake. In 2022, my wife and I saw Robert Hall at Lake Tahoe (Magic Fusion). At the end of the show, Robert offered his instructional DVD (in exchange for a small donation to a charity) which my wife insisted that I get. The DVD rekindled a passion for magic I had in my youth and I've been obsessed with magic ever since! This week, we were back in Tahoe and caught Robert's show again. He continues to have one of the best magic shows I have ever seen. The effects are high level (blow your socks off) and interlaced with humor and storytelling. This is by far the worst show I have ever attended. I went with my family to watch a performance by Robert Hall. The show started off as a normal show and with a small audience. However, as it progressed, it felt like the tricks would never begin, replaced instead by endless stories. When he finally did perform some tricks, they were no more impressive than those you'd see at a child's birthday party. The show took a strange and uncomfortable turn towards the end when Hall decided to eject everyone from the venue. Initially, the audience thought it was part of the act, but he actually kicked us all out. This was a blatant disrespect to the audience, most of whom were tourists who had spent money on the show, food, and drinks. If you're planning to see this show, make sure to ask who the magician is. If it's Robert Hall, save yourself the trouble and avoid it! read more

Bought tickets to his show and was upgraded to first row by the restaurant where Magic Fusion is done , because there were empty seats. He was very rude when he asked me to volunteer for a trick and I passed , I don't like attention on me and just wanted to enjoy the show. Robert (aka Bobby aka funny dude aka legit magician) took our breath away. He really tried to resonate with the audience by telling life stories (i.e. first kiss, love life, talks about childhood memories, honesty, etc). His magic sets are truly amazing and it's a great show for kids, date night out, and family! I love how he engages the audience and how he makes folks laugh effortlessly. If you're a resident in Tahoe or a visitor this is a must see show! Environment: the bar is very cozy, dim, and romantic not necessarily the right scene for children but the theater is fine for kids. The only thing are the seats. VERY tiny seats, I heard many many people make a comment about the seats and how cramped it is esp when having to get up and down to make room for by passers. He mentioned that a lot of live shows have been hit the hardest due to Covid and that a lot of shows like cirque du soleil has filed for bankruptcy and 17 shows have been permanently cancelled :( so support live shows if you can!!!! Covid friendly? Not at all. If you're okay with sitting in a room with 99% of people not wearing a mask you'll be fine but if you're super cautious than don't show up until you're comfortable being surrounded with everyone who isn't wearing one. Side note: this has nothing to do with the show but with the loft... the rug at the top of the stairs is a MAJOR violation and I saw someone fall down the stairs but luckily he was able to catch onto someone before tumbling down an entire flight of stairs. The rug does not fit up there so please consider removing it! read more
