I was paying in full, no financing, on a small sedan ($7500). I test drove it and did the best inspection I could. Salesman even helped load the car seat in for my infant daughter. I started the drive back to Albany and by the time I got back in town I had a flat tire. I put on the spare and got home. Next morning I realized what they had done. They used a ton of tire shine to hide the fact that the tires has dry rot. All four of them. I had to replace the whole set. I called them and the salesman said he would make it right, after two more weeks to calls I got nothing. No returned calls, no refund, nothing. They sent my family out in an extremely unsafe vehicle and used a slimey trick to hide a dangerous defect. I make sure everyone I know has heard this story and they have all avoided Robert Hutson because of it and I hope anyone reading this does too!

It has heated seats front and back and a great Bose sound system plus good safety features. Unfortunately our engine light came on the first week. No big, under warranty right? My husband took it in for repairs. They replaced a filter. We go one driving. But a day or so later that engine light is on again. We repeat this song and dance 3 times! They fix something small, send us on our way...all the while it's the transmission. But they say nothing about the transmission until our warranty is up. Then they say, you need a new transmission, it's $4 k to replace and we can tack half onto your payments. There is a class action lawsuit lemon law about these CVT p.o.c. because they are trash. So we are supposed to trust the people who took our $10k and stuck us with a car that won't go over 20 mph and we are still making payments. My mom knew it was the transmission the first week when I took her to the store. But their people didn't...buy at your own risk. The warranty they provide is a joke.

Brought my 2017 Chevy in for service on Monday night, Nov. 3rd, 2025, for my service appointment…read morethe next day. I had made the service appointment about a week in advance. My car was making a squeaking noise that I had thought was a suspension issue due to the accident I was in over a year ago. My service advisor was very kind but the experience was awful. The vehicle was not diagnosed until the end of the day on Nov, 6th. It needed brake pads, and it was going to be a full week until they got the brake pads on either Wednesday, November 12th, or Thursday, the 13th. I don't understand why it would take a whole week for the dealer to get brake pads. You would think the suppliers would be able to get them there faster. They also do not offer loaner cars anymore so your stuck without a ride just waiting on the part unless you want to drive all the way back to pick up the car until the part arrives. The part did not come in until Thursday the 13th and my service advisor called me to let me know the technician had accidently ordered 2 sets of rear brake pads instead of one set for both front and rear. Not a big deal, I understand people make mistakes, but now I'm stuck even longer without a car. Was told they overnighted the front pads and it would be done Monday November 17th for sure. Keep in mind they should've went ahead and done the rear brakes so all that would be left is the front when the front pads came in. I called at the end of the day on Monday, November 17th (around 5pm as service dept. closes at 5:30) and they said it looks like it wasn't quite ready. That is insane. All my car was brought in for was brake pads and to check my 12v battery. The next day, I spoke with the service manager, and while he was nice, all I kept getting was I'm sorry and I understand. Nothing was offered to rectify the situation. No loaner, no rental car reimbursement, no coupon for like a silly tire change or something. Shouldn't have taken a week to get brake pads when AutoZone down the road has them in stock. I also shouldn't have to be left without a car an additional 4 days because the wrong part was ordered. I wouldn't be upset if a loaner or rental car reimbursement was offered, but nothing. He said it will definitely be done today, on Tuesday, November 18th. While the car was ready at the very end of the day on the 18th, it shouldn't have taken that long. Apparently, they didn't even start the rear brakes until that day. It would've been ready sooner if that had already been done and should've been done when that part came in. I have no issues with the service itself but if I am paying $622 for brake pads (front and rear) at the dealer, I expect better service. Especially when I can buy the parts for $90 at AutoZone instead of the $199 charged for parts and get them installed cheaper at Mavis. Never had to wait this long for brakes on the GMC, or the Mercedes I had. Taking 2 whole weeks just to replace brake pads is actually insane, and I am thoroughly upset that nothing was done to rectify the situation as a customer.

And he said yes. I got back in my car and went to STOREMOR down the road by the fire work store and got a building that day that was way bigger brand new 10 x 20 with windows for 4 thousand and change. I rented a uhaul and an auto-transporter at…read moresportmans feed who rented me a damaged transporter as well as a uhaul that should not have been rented out. The next day after loading the truck we went to go load the auto transporter when we found that the tire strap was cut short... therefore unusable (that was the first noticeable thing wrong there was many other things wrong). Sportmans feed told me they did not have any more and sent me to jimmy. Jimmy inspected both the transporter and uhaul and told me they should have never been rented out and they were never inspected. Jimmy spent hours helping me get a new Uhaul as there is a nationwide shortage and helped me find out how to get moving help to unload and re load a new uhaul. Jimmy went above and beyond even though he made zero profit. He inspects all of his Uhaul's and transporters. If you live near or in Moultrie ONLY use him. The Uhaul we had was leaking oil and should have never been rented. After being there for an hour he went back to the truck so we could take pictures of mileage for uhaul and the check engine light was on. If we drive off with that Uhaul we would have ended up in an accident on the side of the highway. Do your self a favor and only rent from Jimmy!!! I spent a whole day trying to rectify the situation so I could move up to NY to start my residency training. Jimmy was great and I'm so glad I stopped at his location otherwise I would have been on the side of a highway!
