I popped in and asked to have the battery replaced. $12 and 5 minutes later I was set. Tony, the proprietor, is knowledgeable, expedient, and fair. He diagnosed another watch just by my description of it and quoted a rate to repair for less than anything else I've heard of in the past few months. Whatever your needs, I can't recommend him enough. And yes, it does smell like an old cigar shop (probably because it was an old cigar shop). Does this in anyway speak to the value, professionalism, or quality of it being a jewelry store and watch repair shop? No. Credit where merit earns it. Merit well deserved, at least in my opinion.

A different lady was working then around 4:30 in the afternoon and she was vacuuming when I went to the store to ask about the ring. She was very polite and offered to walk me back down to the display to see the ring. She allowed me to try the ring on but it was too small. She didn't offer any help on possible re-sizing and did not offer to show me anything else I might have liked that was similar. I purchased a pearl ring from them, but unfortunately the pearl came off very soon after purchase. I took the ring in for repair on April 25, 2026, and was told someone would contact me by Tuesday. No one called. When I followed up myself last week, the person I spoke with was quite rude and told me there were many customers ahead of me for repairs and that it would take around three weeks before mine would even be completed. I find this concerning for two reasons: first, because the pearl should not have come off so quickly in the first place, and second, because reattaching a pearl to a ring should not require such an excessive wait time for a loyal customer. I understand businesses can get busy, but communication and customer service matter. A simple update and a more respectful response would have made a big difference.
