My family has always chosen Robert Irwin Jewelers as their go to jeweler. They explained all the materials to me, and they made sure we got a ring that would fit his personality, lifestyle, and our budget. I was recently in this store with a unique one of a kind ring. And, I wanted to have a Ruby and Sapphire added to the ring. After the work was done and we picked up the ring they could see from our expressions we weren't happy. Even though the jeweler did exactly what we asked for. The stones that we had asked for were just too small for the setting and didn't look appropriate. After a conversation with Robert they thoroughly explained that the size of the stones that we chose we not going to give the desired effect. They went into great detail about gem stones, clarity, refraction of light, and how it applied to our particular ring. We fully understood then that we needed larger gem stones and higher quality to give us the desired effect. They ordered the larger stones, reworked the ring and upon completion it was BEAUTIFUL AND EXACTLY what we wanted. The jeweler didn't charge us for the original stones or the work they did even though they did exactly what we asked for. We offered to pay for the stones and labor for the first attempt and they refused to accept payment; because they know we weren't happy. They assumed the cost of the original stones and the labor because their goal was to have us happy and life long customers - We are and will be - Plus we are telling everyone to shop there. The staff were so nice to me at Robert Irwin Jewelers. I went in a few weeks ago searching for parts for my watch. Although they did not have what I needed in stock, they offered to order it for me or show me how to find it on eBay for less. Using the advice they gave, I was able to order the parts for less online and then they installed them free of charge. I was surprised when the gentleman told me I owed him nothing. My fiancee propsed to me for my birthday. We already had a ring, but he took it from me to be repaired because some of the baguettes had fallen out. I started to worry after not seeing it for a while and then he popped the question. I was beyond surprised. He had the diamond resized to be bigger and added diamonds in with the baguettes.
