I'm not sure if the staff is accustomed to handling large crowds because things seemed a bit unorganized. An older lady working at the desk seemed to move in a very slow pace and the line was very backed up. The area where the performance took place was pretty spacious and clean. I believe this community center is a great venue to host an event (birthday party, wedding reception, etc.,) I don't think it's accustom to handling large events but may evolve.

Initially, the female manager was very welcoming and flexible with our group. We never had issues with scheduling the facility or with customer service. Since she was transferred, we have run into a lot of headaches. The staff since then and especially now are extremely rude. They don't greet people as they walk and when they do engage with us they are usually rude and unfriendly. We have had mulriple scheduling conflicts after signing a contract and confirming our league and have been forced to make last minute postponements in our schedule. The faciliry itself is not the best for two side by aide volleyball courts either. The courts run right up to the wall on one side and the bleachers on the other which make it difficult to have enough space to serve. The basketball hoops also do not rise all the way up on both courts and often times interfere with game play. I hope the league finds another more suitable facility with much better customer service for future play.

This is a good place to workout and shoot some hoops. The weight room has all of the essential…read moremachines, cardio equipment and free weights to complement a solid workout. It never gets too crowded, and the vibe is friendly yet focused with the gym patrons.

This center is convenient but the hours are bad on the weekends (closes at 5 on Saturdays and not…read moreopen on Sundays), and the gym equipment could use some updating. While the door the workout room has scan and enter capability, anyone can just push open the door and walk in. Not many wipes are available to wipe down the equipment (one pack on only one side of the room). The bathrooms seem relatively clean. Not sure if I will renew my membership here. In the meantime I will utilize one of the other nearby community centers.

There is plenty of parking at the center. The inside is very spacious, which allows two games to be played at the same time. I just had a bad experience with the persons at the BINGO WINDOW to buy packets. *********** My niece wanted to come back to Bingo, so we did last night (Friday night). Arrived at the FD around 7:06PM. There was no "temp check" when we walked in , so we followed the "social distancing" markings to arrive at the window to pick up bingo cards. This time there was a man and woman there. When we asked for 2 cards we were told they were $18 and a pack of the special was like $4. I asked, did the price go up because we came a few weeks ago and only paid $11 for a small card. The lady said its always been that price. So i said, does the price make a difference on certain nights? (We came on a Saturday the first time). She said no. Then I said, well I can't play a card that seemed like 40 cards (We're still pretty new to this). She then said they have a smaller card that was like $15. I told her again we only paid $11 before and the card was much smaller to our liking. About 2 minutes or so of going back and forth we just decided to leave. Whoever she and he were, lacked customer service and honestly we think they were trying to get us to pay more than what it was. Either they were trying to get over or the woman who was working the window gave us the card at a cheaper rate. Plus, the first time we came you can get a free bingo dabber- which none of that was set up last night. Not sure if it was a different org. having bingo on different nights or what, but everything was off. Even the vibe in the bingo hall. We're so disappointed because we really enjoyed your first time there and will likely not return based on the interaction with the window persons. Although, the fitness classes can get pretty overfull with the growing size of our community so they may need to find a solution dor that. They always have security checking everyone that comes in which makes me feel safe being there. The price for membership is a bit steep but they have options for reduced pricing if needed. Definitely recommend membership here and you get access to the owings mills location too!
