I received a phone call a day prior to the appointment as a reminder. I arrived at 8:45 and filled out requested paperwork. Around 8:50, 2 hygienists came to the front; one assisting a patient and the other leading the receptionist back to an exam room. I was then told by the employee that usually handles billing that it would be a little bit. I left the office at 9:15am without being seen. My time is as valuable as anyone's and I don't recommend that anyone looking for dental care in Missoula subject themselves to this way of doing business.

You are surrounded by good people that truly care about you and your oral health. Dr Houglin is an expert and does outstanding work. He has a awesome personality and always explains his findings and what should be done in ways easily understood. Appointment times are always right on time and you rarely wait beyond your set time. I have had several cases where I needed to get in to see the Dr. right away and they always got me right in. Sometimes the same day. They take care of me there and thats why I keep going back. In a great location and there is always plenty of free parking. If you are looking for a great dentist and staff check them out.

I have one boy in braces and my younger son gets a check up every six months to re-evaluate and to see when we should start braces. He has worked a miracle on my son that has braces, his midline was almost a full tooth off to the side and had major overcrowding and all off his teeth angled in towards his tongue and had an over bite. He is near the end and close to getting out of his braces. The difference in his teeth are remarkable and I honestly though they would have to pull some teeth to make it work but Dr. K made room for all of his teeth and didn't have to pull any and that was beyond what I expected!! His teeth look amazing. Dr. K is very personable and a happy person with a great attitude, always engaging with both of my boys. He explains the treatment plan before and along the way so we understand what is going on. He is very encouraging and tells my oldest if he needs to do better at something or to keep up the wood work (ie: with his rubber bands or just brushing his teeth). My youngest still does not have enough teeth for braces but he diligently does a check up every six months and lets us know where he stands. Everybody in the office is great to work with and they have great attitudes. I have never had a bad experience with anybody in the office. I truly do not have one negative thing to say, all positive and that is hard to find this day and age. I truly appreciate Dr. K and his entire staff! He has made a wonderful difference in my sons smile. I would recommend him without a single hesitation and a million times over!!! Thank you Dr.K (and staff)!

Had been going to Dr. Blackhurst for over 10 yrs. While going they changed our insurnace to out of…read more network. They never communicated that with us. I attempted to dispute a charge, ot took over 6months of back and forth with their secretary. I was told that their finance dept would contact me. Never did. I had to call every month, when they would resend the bill. The secretary said they emailed us of the insurnace change, they never did, they don't even have my email address. Terrible communication from their office. After seeing a new dentist I was told filings that they said I needed should not have been done. New clients beware!

I was hesitant off couple of bad reviews but there will always be a person you can't make happy . However with me he had good chair side manner and you could tell he cares about the outcome of his work . Was very impressed how he mostly works alone while his assistants run the other rooms doing charting with hygiene or cleaning and seating and this didn't come off as a lack of staffing just simply he could and didn't need to additional help! Was able to get everything verified with insurance quickly and even able to do in house payments on a crown I needed to replace which was a big relief . I'll continue to come here for future needs as well as recommended the office .

I needed the failed mesh removed, some old stitches taken out, and a new inguinal hernia on the other side repaired. I just completed surgery and it seems to have been very successful. I have been very impressed with Dr. J and her excellent staff and wish I had found her the first time around. My first phone calls, my initial consultation, pre-surgery appointment, pre-op testing, and the surgery all went great. Many thanks to Dr. J and her superb support staff.

They saw me that day, and scheduled to take them out Jan 2nd. Despite rather tricky situations and a lot of work, everything went smoothly. Dr. Duke and staff were very attentive to my comfort, and had really state-of-the-art equipment. I also got lots of milkshake recommendations- the staff were so sweet!! Very personable. My face never swelled up (might be a person to person thing) and I felt almost all better the day after. Went back for a courtesy check up right before another work trip a week later and things looked good. I am not from Missoula but this office might have me convinced to fly back to Missoula for every dentist visit!! haha Very lucky if you live here.

Very disappointed in the billing office. I went in for a cleaning and they said that I needed a…read morescaling and that insurance would pay 80%. An hour and 15 minutes later they give me a bill for $392.00- that was my portion after insurance they said. The total bill was over $790 for the cleaning and now an hour later they say insurance will only cover 50%. My wife calls and the lady more or less calls me a liar- I am no liar! Secondly, THEY CHARGED OVER $790 FOR A SCALING/CLEANING. It lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes. I liked the dentist, but he has a rude staff who has no idea what they are doing. BEWARE!!!!!!!

I had to get a molar extracted and will be getting a implant. Immediately, I got a good impression with Dr Gama. He is easy to ask questions of, informed me of the procedure what to expect and possible complications. It's a spendy procedure but never felt hounded to pay The office is very comfortable and clean. I can, and do, fault him for the way that he treats patients and families. He was immediately condescending in ways that bug me. The intake process is I efficient in ways that are a serious problem for most people who work (and as such have taken time off of work), which she is both insensitive to and, again, weirdly condescending about. The worst part though, is that the staff deliberately keeps distraught children away from their parents. My daughter was suffering for a good 15 minutes while they bullied her in the back room Instead of just coming to get me from the waiting room, which would've calmed her down in seconds. I feel comfortable recommending Dr Gama for those who are not particularly vulnerable but not for anyone who may feel frightened or overwhelmed, or have other reasons for wanting a caregiver close at hand.
