I bought a house when I was young so when me and my wife would go to open houses, no one ever spoke to us or even tried to sell us the house just because we didn't look like we could afford the house. Robert was the first realtor that took our info down and told us when you're ready to sell or buy give me a call ill take care of you. Fast forward a few years later, we wanted to leave Long Beach and sell our home to be back in LA closer to our parents so we called Robert which introduced us to John to help with the sale since John specialized more out in our area and it was probably the greatest thing to happen to us. I give John a lot of props, because he sold my very difficult house. It was a great house, just required a very particular buyer. Along with the house being difficult to sell, he sold it during an economic downturn, a presidential election, changes in real estate commissions, and massive fluctuations in interest rates. Although the house took longer to sell, he worked hard every few weekends to host open houses and even do private showings at the very last minute. He fought to get us as much money as possible to help us buy our forever home in our future. John never hesitated to reach out to see if we needed help with anything. The home that I lease from the realtor Arthur in July 2023, the owner requested the home back to rent for family on July 12, 2023 was the initial request. I'm a senior citizen, initially the verbal and text messages stated to move out by August 30, 2023. The harassment began via text, phone calls, showing up at my residence. I notified the broker of Excellence Real Estate broker Mike Oyoque and Christina Corea, the owner of Excellence Real Estate via email, that I was being harassed by their employee and provided proof of the harassment. Mike responded "we don't have anything to do with this. (See attached email) as a result of no corrective actions, I have contacted the housing authority. According to the Los Angeles County Consumer and Business affairs Housing and Tenant Protection: Tenants who live in rental units located in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County and subject to the County's Rent Stabilization and Tenant Protections Ordinance (RSTPO) qualify for relocation assistance. Currently their office has been contacted by the Los Angeles County Consumer and Business Affairs department. Arthur didn't serve the notice properly and the house was never registered with the LA County, the documents were not completed correctly. Violation 1 failure to state number of bedrooms in house Written notice, to pay or quit Violation 2 failure to provide sufficient notice on the tenant to the department. Violation 3 failure to register a dwelling unit. I was told I can put down 3.5% for the down payment. Then was told I needed 100k. Then was told to ask family for loans to get money for more down. I went to another real estate company and was told everything I went through here was unnecessary. My credit was ran and I was charged for nothing. I even wanted to make an offer on a home and was told that was a lot of paperwork involved to make an offer and I wasn't going to get the home, and for me to not even make an offer. I wanted to view homes and never got responses until a week after. Once I hired a new real estate company, Karina would constantly call me trying to regain my business. I told her I have found someone else that was assisting me better and she had an attitude and hung up. She always claims she is the best in the business but it doesn't seem like it! I would never recommend anyone to come here. She tries to take advantage of first time buyers and wants you to do everything within a minutes notice and at her convenience. If the homes you're looking for are not in la county, good luck getting a response in getting to go see them. She also has a family member take over the sale who has no knowledge on buying homes, and when confronted upon the issue she says it was her day off. She may be having people work for her that are not licensed real estate agents and it sadly shows upon the performance of her company. If she needs anything signed or reviewed you have to take the time out of your day to go to her office, she will not go to your home to better assist. She will do whatever is more convenient to her, and also whatever requires less work for her.
