I was all for it and he wrapped a padding around my foot that would mimic the effects of an orthotic. I took a couple of steps with the wrapping around my foot and it made my foot pain worse than without it. However, this isn't why I'm leaving this one star review. The way Dr. D'Ortone's demeanor changed after I responded negatively to the orthotic was appalling. He questioned, "Why are you wasting my time?", "Do you even have pain in your foot?" I hope Dr. D'Ortone reads this message and strives to understand and listen to his patient's concerns instead of jumping to conclusions and gaslighting them. One good thing about this practice is that the receptionist was very pleasant and understanding. Perhaps Dr. D'Ortone could learn a thing or two from her.

No other orthopedic doctor has ever explained my condition in such a clear and understandable way. What impressed me most was that she truly listened. I tend to ask a lot of questions and sometimes over-explain my concerns, but she never made me feel rushed or dismissed. She listened patiently, answered every question, and made sure I understood all of my treatment options. I also appreciated that she didn't immediately push medication or surgery. She respected my concerns, offered alternatives, and presented surgery as an option--not a decision she was making for me. She gave me the knowledge I needed to make an informed choice, and because of the trust she built during this visit, I would seriously consider surgery with her if that time comes. I asked her to numb me and she told me numbing it would hurt even more. The procedure she did was not one that would stop ingrown toenails from coming back. (My new podiatrist explained to t to me.) It's a temporary fix, which means I may have to have the procedure again. This time it will be done properly and with numbing! 2. She sent the sample out from my ingrown toenails and they results came back with a positive result for a fungus in. It's toes. She refused to treat me for the fungus. She told me if I keep getting pedicures the fungus won't go away. I found out that was false information from the podiatrist that I went to for a second opinion. 3. She and her nurse are blunt and rude! I am thankful to have found a new podiatrist that can help my feet heal!

Finding the campus is easy, but the building the practice is in is not clearly marked. After walking around and asking people.....I found it.
