It is a labyrinth with stairs up and down leading to small interconnected rooms full of delights. They serve good food and wonderful coffee. Now I usually dislike shopping (outside food and drink) but when I'm in a place as wonderful as this it's a different story. It's one of the few places that sells Chanel No 5 perfume - Chanel are careful as to who can trade their merchandise - 100ml £100. It had the remnants of a Black eye Friday sale that included men's shoes. I am fussy about shoes. I like proper soft leather, the touch and the smell - including leather on the soles and heels. Shoes that are strong and clench your feet - shoes that demand enthusiastic brushing and polish or as I was growing up spit and polish. Proper nails in the heels and great stitching are vital too. If it's made in China footwear or India it's not going on my feet. Period. I found a pair that were perfect. Fitted like they were especially made just for me. £200 down to £75 and wonderful and now mine. They will mould to the shape of my feet over time and will be so much better when they do. Old shoes are like old friends - comfortable to be with. These places are from another time and we must support them for as long as we can as to lose them means it feels like we lose a piece of ourselves.

I explained that I wanted a bouquet delivered to the hospital today as my nephew had just become a dad .She told me she was more or less closed but I explained that I really wanted the flowers delivered today and needed a nice bouquet. She said she would do her best and an hour or so later the flowers were delivered! I really appreciated her doing this as I had called a few other places in Letterkenny who said they could only deliver the next day. Thank you Aanees! I would use this florist again .

The wares inside are lovely, especially the cards, they have some beautiful ones that you could frame as a series of pictures. They do fresh soups, sandwiches, quiches, salads and cakes. I had a really tasty panini with bacon, cream cheese and sundried tomato; the scones and cakes all looked delicious too. Worth a stop when paying homage to one of Ireland's greats buried beneath mighty Ben Bulben's shadow.

I have three hats / caps from Hanna Hats, all sized large, yet each fits differently. One, a…read morenewsboys cap fits perfectly, another newsboy cap fits almost too (uncomfortably) tightly, and the last (my final purchase), a special edition walking hat (I think it's called the 65 or something similar, and no longer available on their website) is too large and a disappointment. I realise that these are hand crafted by a small company, and I appreciate their craftsmanship, but I'll never purchase another, not just due to the inconsistency of fit, but primarily because of their return policy. Just removing a tag (which I did in order to try on the hat since the tag was attached to the inside lining) may render the item ineligible for a refund. That plus an additional return shipping charge of 24.95 euros on top of the original $150.00 I paid for the walking hat made it not worth the risk that the refund might have been rejected. So, I've kept the walking hat, but don't wear it. A waste of good money.
