Having to install my AC again, to finding out Roger never connected the brace to my drive shaft which caused my drive shaft to damage my fuel tank while driving. UPDATE. Read before going!!!…read more 1996 Corvette LT4 1 star. Ernesto took in my vehicle for a diagnostic, a distributor, and fuel pump repair. He gets the star for completing The job And for the ingenuity in fuel filtration by sacrificing an old sock. Why he lost 4. My fuel inlet cover is now missing. My electric radiator fan no longer turns on (overheating) my emissions air system no longer charges. My fuel gauge no longer works (see pic of fuel sending unit and pump with a dirty sock wrapped around it and the wires just twisted together- I had a brand new pump and sending unit installed before he did this) my e brake was completely removed, broken, left in pieces in the back, my dash board is separated from the trim by an inch, the wire harness under the hood was ripped apart and random wires are now twisted together with many just cut, my mass air flow sensor plug is broken off, my hood latch is now inoperable, my power steering box is flopping around unbolted (now missing bolt) my tool box is missing half the tools, and lastly.. my OBDII reader and BT receiver left the chat. I would bet there is more but I haven't found everything else his business "fixed". After 4 months of having my car we finally confirmed a date I could pick up the car- the day of, he let me know he couldn't be there and left the keys for me, I sent the payment and drove out from San Diego to pick up. (My bad). I did bring it to his attention to which he apologized and offered to "fix" it. But... man... I don't trust him to get it done after thinking that was the way to turn a car back over to a costumer in the first place. My lesson in life, Pay the higher rate, have a professional do a professional job. Update- I pulled the water pump (which must be removed to access the distributor) and immediately felt uneasy as everything had a very "this looks like 10000 miles of untouched grit" look to it. Well, the work was actually never done. I paid for parts, time, and he kept the new parts, did a hackjob wiring to get it to start and called it good. Ernesto (son I believe) fed me a sob story about his remorse for how his company handled this and promised to refund the money but within 12 hours stopped responding to any messages. I hope no one is ever hurt because of their dangerous business practices driving away in a vehicle they touched.

A Gonzalez mechanic took me to Auto Zone. I bought my own fuel pump, and they installed it, and a new fuel fuel filter. I did not pay some BS parts mark up with BS fees etc...They safely took out my FULL tank of gas, and swapped the internal pump assembly. They made sure my wife was out of the heat, and in an air conditioned office. I called 2 other shops at 430 pm. One blew me off saying they were about to close, another said they were closing early because of the heat (117 in the shade) and to have my jeep towed to the shop, and he'll look at it in the morning. (J&M Auto) Frustrated and sweating, I called Gonzalez, I told them my problem. "don't worry my friend, you will drive home, and sleep in your own bed tonight." Far from home, it was good to hear. It was even better that I did drive home and sleep in my own bed that night.

I have a 2019 freightliner that had a defective heater hose that had rubbed against another hose…read moreand made all the coolant leak out and left me stranded on the dangerous grade between the border of San Diego and el Centro without cell service. I was temporarily able to fill it with water and make it to the bottom of the grade and called when I got service. Joel is the owner and he was very attentive and helpful. He was right off of the freeway exit and it was easy to get the semi in and the surrounding streets had plenty of room to drive. He found the problem right away. He was very honest and friendly and in total it cost 150.00 for labor and he was kind enough to take me to the hotel down the street where there is plenty of food. There is a freightliner down the street from him so they can get the parts same day unless they don't have them. The next closest freightliner is in Fontana or Miramar, California which are both 3 hours away. I would do business with him again!!
