Outstanding Service & 5-Star Experience…read more We recently had an unexpected transmission issue while traveling back to San Diego after dropping our son off at ASU. After spending nearly an entire day pulled over on the side of the road and trying to figure out what to do, we eventually had our vehicle towed to Ramco and stayed overnight at a hotel. We truly couldn't have ended up at a better place. From the very beginning, Ramco was professional, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly fair. They took the time to explain everything to us, were completely transparent about our options, and never made us feel pressured or like they were taking advantage of a stressful situation. Because we were traveling and dealing with an unexpected vehicle problem, I wanted to make sure we were getting the right information. I reached out to my brother-in-law, who works for San Diego Police Department (SDPD) and is responsible for the mechanical work on their vehicles. I explained everything Ramco had told us, and he gave me the exact same explanation and diagnosis. That gave me a tremendous amount of confidence and reassured me that Ramco was being completely honest with us and that we were not being taken advantage of. Their expertise and honesty gave us peace of mind, and most importantly, they helped get us safely back on the road so we could make it home to San Diego. I only wish Ramco were located in San Diego because I would absolutely continue using them and recommend them to everyone I know. If we are ever in the area and need automotive service again, Ramco will definitely be our first call. Five stars doesn't feel like enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would!

However, Trish is the one that really went to bat for me. I took my Buick in for a new transmission. In the process, Trish found an unrelated issue that was still under warranty with the dealer. I told her that the dealer was giving me a hard time over the warranty. She told me that she was going to print the diagnosis, and drive my car to the dealer herself! She knew that they would definitely listen to her. She didn't just go above and beyond for me, she bent over backwards! She could've just handed me the diagnosis and said, "good luck." This amazing company is not only extremely proficient, they also have COMPASSION. And as a single woman, that really hit home with me. They are by far the BEST!!

Asked him while he was under there if he would see if he could find out why my vehicle would no longer accept more than two dollars worth of gas at a time. He took care of the transmission and then found a kink in my gas filler hose, straightened it, and attached a new bracket to replace the one that had been broken. These guys go above and beyond. I was having electrical problems with my Ram 2500 diesel truck. The batteries were draining down…read morefor some reason and after sitting for two days did not have enough charge to start the truck. I had just replaced the batteries less than three months ago. I was directed to Precision Automotive by Accurate Automotive because of the diesel engine. When I brought the truck in Chris listened to my detailed explanation of my problem and decided to first check the condition of both batteries. His employee tested both batteries and both tested at 100%. I then discussed the situation with Chis. He said he would need the truck for two days, and then gave me a detailed explanation of the process that needed to be gone through to find the problem. And told me if I was handy I could do it myself, at least down to finding the circuit causing the problem. Then it would require knowing which parts are on that circuit to find the problem. At this point I did not have the ability to leave the truck for two days and since we were heading back home to Idaho soon, I would have my mechanic there help find the problem. I then tried to pay for the work and information provided but Chris would not allow me to pay him. They have already exceeded that in repairs. They keep pushing me off saying that they are waiting for another shop to fix the heads which are supposedly leaking. I have spoken to several mechanics and they have all said they're taking advantage of the warranty to get paid more than the value of the truck. I just contacted an attorney and hope they can get this unscrupulous company to fix my truck and return it to me.

I took my truck in because scanner at autozone store said my torque…read moreconverter clutch(TCC) was stuck in the off position, torque converter clutch solenoid and possible Transmission Control module were malfunctioning (Code 0741). YAT said brake light sensor was malfunctioning and was replaced and I also opted in for a transmission flush. Did that. Transmission light came on again. Went to Autozone, diagnosed the same problem with the torque converter clutch along with same codes. Took truck back to YAT and they said I needed a new transmission control module that was faulty and they could order one that came preprogrammed in a week and had that installed. Within 12 hours transmission light came on again, went to Autozone and had code (0741) again. The brake light sensor and transmission flush bill with labor was $476. The transmission control module and labor was $395 which is being refunded. I still haven't had my transmission related issues resolved.
