Tavelling with them to Toronto was okay except we were suppose to stop at a time Hortons in London but they stopped at a hotel instead where the washroom was not accessible. Also when I made my reservation 5 weeks before my return to Toronto they advised me to take the 9:30pm bus back to Windsor and said if I get thru customs before 4:30pm I may get on the 5 pm bus BUT it was full and here I sit for 5 and a half hrs with expecting to also sit in London for over 2 hrs. They didnt offer to put my luggage in their booth at the airport or offer to help me findalternate travel arrangements home. So expect my return trave to he another 7 hrs on top of my 5 and half wait in an airport hallway. THANK YOU. read more

Gone down hill since 2021 ( Covid ) not as many shuttles. My flight landed at 420pm i got my luggage at 430pm, I called and they said they canceled the 6:30 shuttle. And I now have to wait 6 hours for the next shuttle. I'm so done with these people!! This is my 4th time taking it after covid. And they kept saying it would go back to how it was pre covid and still no progress. Having to wait 7 hours to cross the boarder is absolutely awful and not fair for the paying customer. read more

I arrived at Pearson from Germany on September 22. My flight was delayed so I arrived in Canada around an hour later than scheduled; however, I passed through customs and passport control pretty fast and I got my luggage quite promptly. My bus was scheduled to depart from Pearson at 7:30 pm. I called Robert Q's main office at 7:18 pm and informed them that I was there and I had just got my luggage and I was heading to their kiosk at Terminal 3. I arrived at their kiosk at 7:25 pm and I was informed that I had been placed on a 9:30 pm bus because the 7:30 pm bus has already left! I have used Robert Q frequently over years to both Toronto and Detroit and this was the very first time that the bus left way earlier than the scheduled departure time without giving booked passengers time to show up! I was told by their main office that passengers are supposed to check in 15 minutes early, but that doesn't really explain a bus service or any other transportation service leaving a point of departure earlier than the scheduled departure time cited on a sold ticket (specially at an airport where flights are delayed frequently). You can only imagine how upset I was specially because my train to Frankfurt Airport was also delayed and then re-routed that day causing so much stress and delay and then I had to deal with Robert Q after having such a long stressful day. I arrived home at 12:30 am instead of 9:45 pm. After filing a complaint with the company, they didn't admit their mistake and they made the following comment: "We attempt to help as many of our passengers as possible before we must depart from the first terminal we visit in order to leave the second terminal without delay. When we receive a call from our customers who are running late we can plan to go to the other terminal first to give you more time. Unfortunately when you had called our driver was already at terminal 3. Please note that our ticket includes details about the check-in policy, this is how it looks on the ticket: **CHECK-IN DEADLINE IS 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE** We pick up from two terminals. The departure time shown is from the Airport not from a specific terminal. Passengers checking in within 15 minutes of departure risk being moved to the next available departure. I am sorry that you missed our check-in time due to your delayed flight. We would not provide any compensation for this delay as the check-in policy was part of the contract we agreed upon at the time of booking." read more

I used this service to get to the Toronto Pearson Airport and back recently for the first time and had an overall strong first impression. The shuttles are clean, comfortable and reliable. The drivers are very courteous and helpful, and the service is also offered at a decent price. When you consider how much it would cost to fill up for gas to get to YYZ from London in your own car, it is a great deal. You will also save A LOT on parking. It's also important to note that even though check in supposedly cuts off 15 minutes before departure, they don't do a hard cut-off then and should generally have no problem checking you in if you show up even 10 minutes before. Still, I would recommend showing up early so you don't have to risk being put on the next shuttle for showing up too late My only complaints that prevent this review from 5 stars would be that I wish there would be more shuttle departure times from both YYZ and London - it seems that options are pretty limited which may pose a problem for some. The other is that their pick-up/drop-off at a specific location option offered doesn't always mean the shuttle will drop you off directly at where you wish to be dropped off. Depending on where in London you wish to go, you may be put in a taxi. While the taxi is free since you pay an extra fee to be dropped off directly at the place you wish, it doesn't really make sense to go in a taxi when you pay to be dropped off by the shuttle. It's better to be picked up by someone at the Robert Q Terminal and then proceed with that person to your final destination, just so you don't have to "take your chances". Other than that, I definitely recommend this service for anyone because of how reliable, clean and safe it is. TIP: If using the shuttle for other purposes and not to fly out of YYZ, when traveling to London, meet the shuttle at Terminal 3 and not Terminal 1 so you have better chances of securing the seat you want for the 2 hour ride. read more

I would not take this again, solely for the very limited shuttle times they have. I had an 1155am flight from Toronto and I was picked up at 4:30 am, to catch their 5:15 am shuttle. I am all checked in, gone through us immigration, and it's 8am. 4 more hours to wait in a very limited section of the airport (if you are catching a flight to the US you are in terminal 3, international section). When I booked the bus, I said this was way too early but the next shuttle wasn't until 9 (or 10) and they said it wasn't enough time (it wouldn't have been). But why don't they have a 7 or 8am? I was also traveling on a day when many people from the conference I was at would be departing to Toronto. It was a full shuttle and I see a need for another time. I also took this departing from Toronto to London. Service was great but the bus is cold on both ways. Though my ticket said I must checkin 15 min prior to departure, when I came up to the desk about 11 min prior, in a flutter, the desk agent told me there was no need to worry. I used the Robert Q from Toronto Airport to London on July 16, 2024. We had a stop at the Days Inn in London on Wellington road. The bathrooms are located down a long flight of stairs in the basement. It was so disgusting with a terrible ammonia smell. We were traveling with an elderly who could not do stairs. They gave her a key to a dirty room to use. I think they should find a suitable hotel with ground floor bathrooms. Totally disgusting for this elderly lady. read more

The staff at the desk are rude and will ignore you while you are waiting to check in at the desk because they're playing on their phones. I had paid to be taken to London from Toronto, and they claim that they transfer you to their depot then a cab comes to take you the rest of the way to London airport, this is not the case. We've used the Robert Q service multiple times for two years now and have been pleased with the service, to/from London - Detroit and/or Toronto. Using the Robert Q Airbus shuttle is much more economical for an individual traveler than taking a car service, I've found the ride to be comfortable and efficient. In the dozens of times we've used the service we have not been delayed departing or arriving our destinations. The down side of using a shuttle service is it is less flexible than driving yourself or using a private car service, you're at the mercy of their timetable. This may mean departing much earlier than if you think necessary and then kicking around the airport. Then it's up to you to weigh your options, if you want to work on your timetable use a private car, if you want to save money choose a shuttle service. read more

Bus driver Don made an inappropriate comment about my friends while taking the bus from the Toronto Pearson Airport. My friends were having trouble with the seatbelts and Don was yelling that it was on the left. He then said "It might be that in India the seatbelts are on the right, but here it's on the left". I interjected and told him that it was racist to assume that they are from India, and that they actually grew up in Ontario. I explained that even if they were from India, that comment was rude. Don tried to argue with me and did not understand why it was inappropriate to say. This is very concerning to me considering he must drive many diverse people to and from the airport every day. read more

Terrible trip! Got on the shuttle at Toronto international airport at which time the driver threw our luggage in the back with no consideration to our belongings. This could be overlooked however once on the shuttle the driver refused to turn the heat off after being asked. We are now drenched and the shuttle feels like a sauna!!! I have taken Robert Q for many many years, and was planning to use them on my most recent trip at Christmas. I however, have a small dog that travels on the plane with me, under the seat. She is a very well-traveled small dog, having flown across the country just under a dozen times. She's quiet, friendly, sits in her soft carrier and is an excellent traveler. I have taken her on city buses, trains, go trains, ferries, taxis and planes with no issues. Usually the person beside me makes friends with her. However, when I went to book the shuttle this time, they asked if it was just me traveling, and I said no, my dog is coming. They said 'oh, we dont take dogs'. The person was quite rude and suggested that I take a $250+ taxi to London and that they don't transport animals. I wasn't asking for my dog to be 'transported', she would be my carry-on, that just so happens to breathe. I wrote to Robert Q, and received a response that they take emotional support animals, but you require a doctor certification etc. My mom visited to speak to the Manager, and they told her that I should just not travel. As the world opens up to pets (many stores now allow dogs- Lulu Lemon, Mec, Lowes, Canadian Tire, etc), some places do not, such as Habitat for Humanity that sells used House repair parts. Robert Q, is the used house supply parts store of transportation. I'll be taking Via Rail instead, for a quarter of the price (slightly less convenient). If you're looking for another Option - Take a taxi or GoBus to Burlington/Aldershot to take Via rail, or take Megabus. I believe Viarail is about $25, and Megabus is less. My family has been using Robert Q since 1995, but for the past 5 years, it's been hard to think of a positive experience. The only positive thing about this service is the drivers. They use the tunnel across the boarder into detroit now because it's a few bucks cheaper, unfortunately for passengers, the tunnel can take up to 2 hours. The people at the front desk are incredibly rude and have no regard to the customer. They will quite literally yell at you if you show up at 1:50am for the 2:00am shuttle. I'm a student at the university in London, but I live in the states so I travel home about 8 times a year. Recently, I was traveling to Texas for a big interview and parked my car in their parking lot. I usually cab, but I was coming straight from work and didn't have time to go back home and whatnot. The lady at the front desk was incredibly rude, made snide comments and made me fill out a form because my car was parked in their (rather spacious) parking lot. The next day, in the middle of my interview, I got a call from Robert Q threatening to have my car towed. Im already paying $160 for a round trip, I'm just confused as to why they treat their customers so poorly. I'm also a waitress, so I understand that the customer may not always be right, and I understand the service industry, but it would be nice If I could pay for a service without the attitude. If you are a student, I recommend ride sharing!!!! It's also a lot cheaper to drive AND park!!!! Poor customer service both on the phone and at the Pearson counter when I was 5 min late for the bus due to a delayed flight. I saw the bus outside and the people at the counter told me that they could not check me in or call the bus driver as the bus pulled away while I was talking to them. This is despite me phoning ahead saying I received my bags and was making my way through the airport. I wish I had more options to get to Pearson from London and back but Robert q has a monopoly. What gets me angry, is they actually told me to run after the bus when they finally admitted the bus was driving away. So unprofessional!! read more

I am a repeat customer for years. I would say 30+ return trips in the last couple of years. I had 1 ignorant driver but I just gave him a dose of his own medicine. Felt good. The drivers are kind I thought and never had any issues until I made a purchase at the T.O airport. My card declined and I thought "what the heck?' I went to the ATM and I was $8 shy of the purchase required. The atm machine would not allow me to go into my tax free savings to withdraw the extra money needed. I am now stranded at the Toronto airport and my destination is London. I was only short $8 and assured I would come into the office the next day and pay the remainder $8. Again..REPEAT CUSTOMER 30+ TIMES.....They were going to leave me stranded with no care in the world..A single young girl..thank God a nice person at the terminal gave me the extra money to buy my ticket.. I paid $66 to go from Toronto to London. Long flight and I wanted to go home without any hassle. Spoke to the "dispatcher" by phone and paid with credit card they'd drop me off downtown but then the driver would only stop to pick up a woman at a motel and drive her to a different one then dumped us in a weird part of town. I called to complain and gave my confirmation code.. was told by a different person that the van doesn't stop in random places. If I'd paid $25 I might give em 2 stars (Greyhound actually is $25 and I would give them 3 stars). read more

On December 28, 2015, the bus arrived at the Woodstock Quality Inn over 40 minutes late and then took well over 2 hours for what should have been, according to their website, a 90 minute trip to Toronto's Pearson airport. Traffic was smooth the whole way with just some light flurries and a dusting of snow on the 401. We got to the airport an hour and 15 minutes behind schedule and I missed my domestic flight since it had closed 10 minutes before my attempted check-in. Thoroughly unimpressed. My advice is to pay absolutely no attention to their posted departure and driving times. Their drivers don't. Just assume the bus will come whenever and that the ride will take twice as long as would be reasonable. Yes, I would have wanted to take an earlier bus to give myself a larger time cushion but the earlier bus was fully booked. read more

**For Wheelchair Users*** If you're lucky, you'll like it. By lucky I mean if you don't use a wheelchair and not require an accessible van. If you are on a wheelchair, you got to be again be further lucky to be able to get the accessible bus on the time you need it as they just have one accessible bus that caters both Toronto and Detroit. Probability of you getting it is like flipping a coin. The message of you not getting it is delivered to you without any empathy, in case you try to question it or ask for possibility of a special arrangement.., be ready to hear some rude responses from the customer rep on telephone like I was told by one of the reps in a rude tone 'We won't be buying a new bus for your travel'. One would think how can somebody respond in this manner to a customer but then you realize that wheelchair community is not big enough to have a say to them, and they are the only Business left in London to provide airport shuttle services that's why the King like attitude. Having said all this, I would also like to acknowledge that if you are lucky enough to get the service then Robert Q provides some of the best services you'll ever experience. They are always punctual and they have some of the nicest drivers. Peace! read more

ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL - Do not use this service unless you absolutely have to. They left my partner in the airport for 7 hours because he "didn't check in in time" even though there was a giant line at the check in counter and one person working. Called to complain, was laughed at, told they don't have time to deal with this. To top it all off, through conversation with the worst customer service manager I've ever spoken to (Alan S.) I found out they are illegally recording customer phone calls without notifying the customer. Transferred to his manager, Nancy (apparently the president of the company) who has a full voice mail box. Just an awful experience made worse by a company that could not care any less and makes that abundantly clear. read more

Just want the company to know that I enjoyed traveling with them on Thursday 9/24 15 from Holiday Inn Select to Detroit airport (DTW). This was because I had an usually kind driver named Steve. I have traveled several times with them before and i have had nice drivers and some not so nice but this young man was the best. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome, assisting me with such gentleness and kindness; it was noticeable, compared to other drivers. I have had total knee replacement of my left knee and is will be doing the right knee as soon as I muster up enough courage again, so ambulation is often very painful with some days worse than others; have to use a cane when I travel. He came inside and took my luggage (first time I've ever had this done for me); told me to stay inside and enjoy the a/c until the other passengers were through using the bathroom. He assisted me on and off the bus as needed (most of the other drivers have done so too) but he was unusually gentle and patient.May God bless him for his kindness. read more
